Very good bar with a serious craft beer selection within easy walking distance of the Lake Merritt BART Station. Pictures are of the menu, interior, and a red and black lager. There are also free classic arcade games in the rear of the bar. Adding to the atmosphere is a well lit outdoor set of tables that I’m sure serves as an impromptu beer garden. If I’m back in Oakland, I sure know where to get a beer!!

Nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. The upstairs bar and patio is nice on a warm breezy day. All the staff were courteous. Bathrooms were older, but clean and well stocked. Would definitely like to visit this place again!

The bar scenery is great. The bartenders were rude, and when I asked if they had something in stock or if they could make a certain cocktail they just said flatly no rather than take a different option...I had to wait twice to get my order and she still got it wrong. Went to the ruby room instead which was close by, which does not have the same outside bougie appeal but the bartender was nicer.

Cozy but spacious, friendly staff, outdoor open deck playing movies, lots of beer to choose from.

Hip bar near Lake Merritt Bart stop. Quite large, has a partitioned outdoor space as well as rooftop seating and bar. Food is available at the small Indian kitchen attached. Scene is mainly 20s-30s and casual. Trivia night on Tuesdays.

Only sat off the bar area, but it was a really nice atmosphere. Music was bumping, great beer selection and the upstairs space is nice, if not a bit smaller than expected

Liked the decor and atmosphere but neither of us found a beer we liked well enough to pay bar prices for. Fries are delicious, tots were greasy but still good, tacos were okay but we've had way better

Great space, good drinks, would get 5 stars if they didn't have some many frat boy packs

Very popular place, great beer selection. Plenty of room inside, outside and roof (which has a bar)

Sangria was pretty boozy and not fresh tasting. The fruity taste normally attributed to sangria seem to come from a package and not fresh fruit or juices. I was pretty disappointed.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and what a great atmosphere! There's a rooftop patio as well as a ground floor area. There are a ton of beer on tap and also a lot of unique cocktails. Most of the seating is not covered, but not really an issue. There is also a food establishment that has food truck like options. It was a tacos option when we were there. A bit slow but the food was yum. The bar is between two buildings so despite being on the rooftop, there isn't much of any view. The place appears to be dog friendly.

Yes

All of the real natives have been systematically eliminated. Pretty much all that's left are immigrants. I don't know any bars in the bay owned by native Americans. Maybe the bar at cache creek.

It's an open bar...it not a closed spot. Check out it's website

Not sure. There is an outside courtyard when you first walk in. And I have seen a bike once. So I think so.
