We had a wonderful early-afternoon lunch at Luxbar and enjoyed the best Bloody Marys we've ever had. Wonderful ambience, friendly service, and the Gibson beef is to die for. Will return!

Incredible selection of bourbon, scotch, gin, tequila and everything else. Outstanding service and the prices are far from terrible. If you're around, stop by!

A wonderful blend of nice restaurant with excellent food and mild sports bar. If you're a bourbon or whiskey purveyor like myself, then this is definitely the place for you. The selection of beverages is stellar.

Sitting in the bar area is great, patio is really nice and upstairs lounge is great for events and Lynette is always awesome to work with. The brunch menu for restaurant week is delicious, both the breakfast pizza and salmon sliders were fantastic. Awesome service by: Erick, Suzie, Josh Sargeant and Chris. Favorite dishes: cedar plank salmon, Calamari appetizer (fantastic), build your own Manhattan is delicious, breakfast pizza, salmon sliders and yellowfin tuna tacos

We really enjoyed the morning at Lux Bar. A few Bloody Marys, Some very cheerful staff, the bright green checked table cloths all made it a great time. The Breakfast burrito was the best I ever had. Good drinks. Nice atmosphere. Restaurant is beautiful. We chose to sit on the bar side and enjoy early happy hour--which is a great bargain. Will be back again. Our server was very good as well. Really beautiful area in Chicago. Restaurant is decorated very nice. Food was delicious. I had the french dip. Great drinks as well.

rarely give a 5 star, and I should not, but service and ambience was just great and fun. Disappointing though was the extremely overpriced corkage fee and the mediocre wines which started at $50/bottle. we brought our own, thank goodness. The set up and the total experience was contributing to a great moment in time. A true KingFroach moment (we brought in, hence the corkage fee).

They have a really great industry night on Mondays. Its 50% off your tab. I'm not sure about food but def on drinks. They close at midnight Mondays.The staff is really nice.

We had a great time at the Luxbar. We were visiting downtown Chicago for some Christmas shopping, and we wanted to stop for a late night snack and a drink. Luxbar was the perfect place to go! The wait staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Josh. He was friendly and helped us make our choices on the menu including the Chicago style pizza and some excellent Cabernet and the Luxbar fantastic Moscow mule. I give the Luxbar five stars.

Great place in the Gold Coast, upscale but you don’t have to be fancy to eat here. The clubs are delicious and also the fries. But if you go, make sure you get the chili it’s absolutely fantastic. It does get busy so either grab a reservation or go at an off time

Located in the Viagra Triangle, great space upstairs for a private happy hour with friends or coworkers. I had their Paloma cocktail which was perfect.

Lux bar around the holidays gets an absolute five stars from me!! The decorations inside the bar were absolutely beautiful, and every one of the staff were cheerful and friendly. They have a huge selection of a specialty cocktails, and a large array of wines. We love that they have both Thin and Thick crust pizza, and good selection of various types of salads. Our waiter Josh really made the experience more than five stars because he was friendly, accommodating, and really made our visit to this restaurant and bar wonderful.

We were looking for a place to watch the BIG game between Ohio State and Michigan and enjoy breakfast. Plus we wanted to be walking distance from the Four Seasons. I called to see if they served breakfast at noon and they did. I spoke with Ryan who offered to hold a high top table for us while we walked over. Above and beyond service. When we arrived our table was waiting for us with a reserved sign on it with our name on it. Nice touch. Our server was Susie who was both friendly and attentive. We ordered a Denver omelette and eggs Benedict. The food was served promptly. The eggs Benedict were a little cold so Susie sent another order in to make it right. The potatoes on both entrees were cooked to perfection. We have found our go to bar for Saturday game day when downtown Chicago. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Super tasty food. I ordered a burger and chili to go. Holy cow was it delicious! The burger was great, and the chili was even better. Best chili I've had! Can't wait to get back here for the chili.

Somewhat decadent experience. As walk-in customers we were still treated with utmost care and respect. The short wait provided an opportunity to have a quiet drink, catch our breath and have a chat with some other 'locals'. I felt like the foreigner (as I was a visiting tourist) but made to feel welcome and appreciated. Each of the Luxbar team members who made contact/provided service/s just kept adding to our lovely dining experience. Thanks :)
