Amazing experience! Our server, Kate, was extremely attentive, and was great at coursing our meal properly and anticipating our needs. The cocktails (Rush Street, For Fox Sake, and Shiso Lovely pictured) were delicious, well balanced, and paired well with the food. The sashimi cuts tasted like they were straight off the dock and felt like they melted in our mouths, while the signature rolls (Shazam Roll and Kenai Roll <not pictured>) were fresh with vibrant flavors. We absolutely loved the Butter Lettuce Salad, even though it wasn't meant to be the star of the show, but the Branzino St. Tropez took the cake. The fish was cooked perfectly, was tender and flakey, and went excellently with the potatoes and spinach. The S'mores Cake, if you like stores, was to die for. Rich, creamy,, and full of campfire nostalgia, this dessert was the perfect way to end the meal, complimented with a shot of espresso and a nice Amaro. We happened to have had the pleasure of speaking with Jorge, the Executive Chef, who gave us some great recommendations throughout our meal, as well as some other ones for the next time we come in. We will definitely be back for more!

We had shrimp tempura 10/10 Crab cakes 9/10 Lobster Mac and cheese 10/10 Service was phenomenal our server’s name was PATRICK he went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I enjoyed our moms night out. Overall great ,place great food, and Patrick was the best.

First off the seating is super comfortable, this is hard to come by with tiny hard chairs seeming to be the growing trend. The ambiance was amazing, and our server was fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and rich. 10/10 I will be back.

Incredible sushi! My husband took me here for my birthday and we loved it. One of the best and underrated sushi places in Chicago. Atmosphere is very classy. Service is excellent.

This was my first time there and the food was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back there and try other dishes.

The crab cake is excellent. The chowder was ok. It had a smoky flavor and seemed undercooked because the potatoes were crunchy. My friend and I each ordered a filet. We got mashed potatoes and green beans as the sides. I guess I shouldn’t have high expectations for ordering steak at a seafood place, but the steak tasted so odd. It was REALLY dry, and it reminded me of Christmas Vacation where they dunk the dry turkey in water. I’m not sure why the steak tasted odd. My friend and I determined it was the salt. The green beans had a similar odd taste. I definitely wouldn’t recommend given the price. I think the restaurant is new, so they might be figuring things out.

The first red flag was an available last minute reservation on a Friday night and a half empty dining room. The service was great! The atmosphere is sterile and not welcoming. The true horror was the meal. Dishes came out just okay mostly without favor or fan fair. Towards the end of the meal all of us were commenting on stomach pain and later that evening all experienced sickness in varying degrees. I would not recommend.

Our dinner was exceptional. The food, the ambiance, and our server - it could not have been better. We had a large group so we were able to try quite a few dishes. We started with the tuna tacos, calamari, chicken lollipops and sea urchin sushi. All were incredible. The one that stood out however was the crispy sushi rice with blue crab. Oh my. SOOO excellent. For our main courses, we went with the Crispy Asian Snapper for 2 and that was a showstopper. The full fish, fried and upright, houses the most amazing & flavorful snapper with stir fried vegetables. The entire table went nuts for it. We also were able to try the Steamed Red Snapper in a red curry sauce which had gentle flavors and had a subtle curry flavor. It was delicious but was hard to stand up to the Crispy Asian Snapper. A member of our group also had the lobster roll which he deemed awesome. All in all, it was an incredible meal and we will definitely go back. P.S. Watching other diners order sushi made us excited to go back - the presentation was fabulous and they all looked tempting.

We had one of the best dinners in recent memory. Beautiful space, perfect lighting, excellent service, and delicious food. The snapper was the standout and the Brussels sprouts were my favorite.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel next to the restaurant (21c Museum), where we had breakfast included. At the hotel they told us that we had a daily bonus of 50 dollars for breakfast. The daily amount for our breakfast was around $55, the difference of which would be on us. To justify the charge we signed the ticket daily, which was transferred to the hotel. By our accounts, at the end of our stay, we should have paid around $35. But what was our surprise that the amount was 150 dollars. The reason was that the restaurant generated a parallel ticket to which it added 20% taxes, of which we were completely unaware, and the latter was the ticket that the restaurant passed to our hotel. First of all, I think we should have been informed, from day one, of the final amount. And secondly, I think that the percentage charged is excessive, since we had previously paid the tourist taxes at the hotel. To me, personally, this seems like a SCAM on the part of the restaurant, and specifically, on the part of a kind of manager or boss with an unfriendly face.

Service was so slow we got the drinks after the appetizers and waited a lot of time to get the main courses the food was decent and the drinks were good won’t recommend due to the prices you can find a much better place for the same price range.

It’s a very nice place. I’m just giving 4 stars because I didn’t like one of the sushi rolls. But the rest of the food, service and the ambience was great.
