The food and the service was good.

I’m not sure why it wants me to review it twice..... once was more than enough

The food was great and the cooks always made sure the food never ran out but the service from the staff was absolutely terrible, non-existent really. The waitress made eye contact multiple times with us while we were trying to get her attention and chose to ignore us and keep talking, gave us the wrong drinks, never came back to check on us so we went the whole time without drinks, couldn’t remember which table/person ordered what, and honestly, was rude. The line to pay was very long and there wasn’t a single staff member to be seen. The bathrooms are disgusting and in deplorable conditions.

My partners and I went here for lunch; this was my 1st time. I'm SO glad we decided to go. 😢, they're closing - forever - after Christmas Eve. This I'd is nothing short of a travesty! That food is outta this f@#%*@@g world. I had some of the fried okra & immediately began to plot on "how can I get that pot of okra outta this joint, on the sly?" ... But, ya gotta get there by Dec. 24th, or you're outta luck & would've missed out on a Tampa landmark (imo) & some of the best food around; even your Mom's! ... ya heard me ... Check it out, before it's gone forever.

The restaurant was amazing experience. Love that the owner came by just to say hi and make sure we enjoying our self. The greens and Mac an cheese is like your mom's cooking. The meatloaf is out standing. Such a good feeling restaurant. The customer service was great and every was so good

Great buffet, great prices, building could use an update. But I'll be back for sure.

The staff is great but the food is awful not even worthy of the prices. I spent almost 32 dollars for 2 people to eat breakfast. That's way over afford able. The place needs to be redecorated and somebody needs to be at the cash register at all times! Where was the hostess? None resistant.

Love this place. Country feel to it. All employees are great and even better than that is the all you can eat buffet. Eat breakfast here every Friday.

My kind of cooking and atmosphere with great service

Eating at this restaurant was the absolute WORsT experience of my life none of the food had quality no seasoning wasn’t cooked enough some food tasted old my kids even hated the food. My kids had taco and the taco shells were stale I was completely disgusted with the restaurant itself, the seating was broken they were old and sliding off. Tables were sticky and dirty I would never eat here again. I do want to add that the staff was very pleasant but for the price it just was not worth it.

So impressed with this place. The food is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Used to go to Fat Man's when it was on Fowler and 30th. Same owner, same recipes.... LOVE LOVE LOVE their BBQ sauce. Best bbq buffet around!

I will go out of my way to eat at luptons. Their ribs are the best. Their fried chicken is amazing. While there this trip I was asked if I wanted fried tomatoes, chicken livers all which are made to order. Served buffet style, take what you want, eat it and come back for more if you're so inclined! My favorite days are when they have fried cabbage with bacon on the bar. So good!
