We are now open on Mondays offering a full assortment of 24 gelato flavors. Luna Rosa Gelato Cafe is truly a family owned and operated business in Greenville SC. since 2007. We have recently relocated to our new home at 123 S. Main St. just to blocks from our previous location on W. Washington St. We built a beautiful craft cocktail bar as the crown to our gorgeous new space while preserving the historic woodwork from the 1930’s Carpenter Bros Pharmacy. A tree covered patio on the piazza gives our guest all the benefits of outdoor seating while recessed away from the busy sidewalks. “Something for everyone.” We offer a revolving assortment of 250+ fresh made gelato flavors as good if not better than what you’ve had in Italy along with an assortment of southern Italian/American lunch and dinner favorites like our five layer lasagna, grilled Panini sandwiches, scratch made soups and salads and a unique super thin crust 12 inch personal pizza you can find nowhere else. This place is a restaurant and a Gelato parlor and both are awesome! A huge variety of Gelato (don't forget to look around the corner of the L shaped glass display - wish I knew about it :D) you can mix flavours and pair it with a delicious latte! We had the ice creams on the patio overlooking the Main Street and the food smelled so good we decided to come back later and have some!So came back later, we got there right after the lunch rush, but before dinner time, so kitchen was down and I guess waiters were on breaks, and despite all, the chef greeted and served us himself - thank you Angelo! I had a burger and fries and my wife had lasagna and they were definitely amongst the best we had!

Luna Rosa has Italian food plus a gelato counter. I ate there twice over the last week; the food was freshly prepared and tasty with reasonable portion sizes. Kitchen was very flexible. Dining room was very clean, bathroom was spotless. Only weak point was service; not bad just not excellent. I will return.
