Lumen Detroit

Fantastic dining experience. We went here to celebrate my sisters birthday on a Sunday afternoon and it was excellent. Food was very good. Nice variety of vegan as well as other food choices. Lumen burger was excellent, as well as the turkey club. We had fantastic service!! Highly recommend. Must check it out!!

Good place for food and drinks downtown Detroit. Recommend the burger and truffle fries.

A more incredible park could bot have been picked for this restaurant. It is chic, has great what I would call experimental food such as the "everything bagel wings", and has prices to match.whether you are dining on your own or having an end of the year dinner, this place is able to meet your needs, even allowing you to order ahead. The menu has various items ranging in price and is along the lighter side. There is quite a wine selection to match anything you order be it the salad or salmon. The burger is good while a little small. The fries come in a novelty almost fast food cone. It's great! Definitely worth a visit. The only tricky part is actually getting in the place. Just follow the fence..

Absolutely loved Lumen. We rented a Chalet and the food, drinks, service, and experience was awesome. The Chalets are comfortably heated and great for private parties. It started snowing during our meal and we watched the snow fall into the glass roof. What an awesome time! I definitely recommended for a good family or a romantic experience.

Had a birthday reservation in one of their chalets and it was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful decor and awesome view of Beacon Park lights. Food was amazing as well as the cocktails. The only complaint I have is that our group of 11 had to split one bill and it was a huge inconvenience...not only for us, but I'm sure our waitress as well. We were past our 8pm time frame and was told to wait inside by the front door till our bill was organized and paid. While I understand that this is a restaurant norm, we should have received our bill a little earlier and split up at least some. I called back the next day to make sure our waitress received all of her gratuity. Will book again, but maybe not such a large group :)

I loved the vibe for this place but the food was just not to par. I got a salad and it had tons of cheese flakes and it was simply just not mixed well. My friends and mentors enjoyed the food so maybe it was just the salad. I’ll come back and review my comment when I visit again!

Love the location! Love the design of the restaurant! Beacon park has a tent with lots of fun games that kids and adults can enjoy! Went here twice. First time was top notch, burger cooked to perfection, medium-well. Second time, the burger was a bit more overcooked. Everyone raved about the pretzels the first time we went. Chicken wings were okay.

Came with a group of 7 people and sat at the outdoor bar area. The service was amazing! The drinks and food were amazing! Love the atmosphere and fun vibe of this place. This is a must visit place if you are in Detroit!

The ambiance is perfect. The servers are friendly the food is great The Taste is amazing the quality of the food is top-notch. It's a great place to go to with co-workers meet up with your friends or go out on a nice lunch date. $10 Parking is conveniently located right next to the restaurant. The only thing that I would suggest is to improve the customer service with the greeter. The greeter was too busy talking to who look to be the manager. She missed out on an opportunity to provide a departure remark an invitation for me to return back to this establishment. Overall it's definitely a must-visit restaurant in the downtown Detroit area.I had the crab cake which was very filling and amazing and I had the everything bagel wings which were spectacular and a must have!

Delicious food, great attention, and a fantastic location. Will definitely come back next time we are in town again.

This was a beautiful atmosphere and amazing experience. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Our food was so delicious. The Sangria is what is going to bring me back here. Also we didnt get to sit in the igloos because of the wind but will have to come back for that.

We went there after see the Oscar nominated short films at the Detroit Film Theatre. Kevin was our server and he is top notch. Many of us ordered the chicken pot pie soup. So real! Full of veggies and delicious shredded chicken. Great job chef! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. Made to perfection. One guest ordered the Lumen burger and surprised himself by eating the whole thing. Others ordered a salad and were not disappointed. One of the best happenings took place when the snow started to fall. Very Currier&Ives. Outside decorations are special. Outside dining igloos were occupied with diners. Many pictures could have been taken had we thought of it. A very special evening. Thank you Lumen and Kevin

Service to get our reserved igloo time was late, and my group got overcharged almost 15 dollars. Only saving grace was the food was good, and shared with good people. Atmosphere was really nice however. Igloo ended up being warmer than the restaurant itself as long as tue door to it was kept closed.

My wife and I dined here for our first date night in forever, we aren't locals I just happened to find the restaurant on Google. The burger was fantastic and the mussels my wife ordered were phenomenal. The outdoor igloos are interesting, and had we a bigger party would've waited for one to come available. Next time we come to Detroit we will definitely be back. Wonderful experience!

Our server, Brianna, was outstanding. Just ask for her when you get there. Seriously, ask for her.The drinks were on point, (try the Monkey in Manhatten if you like whiskey).Steak Frites was cooked as requested and was delicious.The burger came out over cooked, but they brought a replacement out quickly.Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended! Also, ask for Brianna. She's awesome.
