The food was great. They actually was out of what I wanted (lasagna) but i settled for a buffalo chicken pizza which turned out way better than i imagined my consolation item to be. Would definitely return

Definitely enjoyed the variety of menus and options here! We came in the evening and had the pleasure of meeting the owner as we chatted with the host about coming for breakfast. The host was kind enough to make us a reservation for the next day. We came for brunch (11-3) and did the 3 course meal for $20 which was a ton of food! The options were pretty good. I will have to come back for breakfast as I had my eye on something and was bummed they did not still serve that menu! However our food was quite good and we walked away with a good amount leftover. The service wasn’t spectacular as they were busy and we were pretty much left to ourselves with the food (which is fine!). We had a couple mix ups with the check at the end of our meal but they fixed these quite quickly. We will have to come back for breakfast!

Stunning food, friendly service. I ate lobster rolls, three of them. My husband had the seafood linguine. He said it was the best he’d ever had outside of Italy. Very reasonable prices. Always packed, understandably! Its location on the main shopping street in Palm Springs is perfect too.

I enjoyed the three course meal here. The Caesar salad was good. I particularly liked the parmesan crisp but thought it had a little too much anchovy. Similarly, the meatloaf was cooked well but the tomato glaze was more tomato sauce than I liked. The dessert, on the other hand was incredible. I had the chocolate cake and, if you like decadent chocolate (as I do), you will love it. The strawberry breaks up the richness so you can eat more. The ambiance is nice. I like that they took steps to keep it from being too loud. The service was also very good. While not everything was specifically to my taste, i enjoyed my time here

It’s been a couple of years since I have been to Lulu. Wow the experience was overall pleasant, the food was mediocre. We had an issue with our steak being rare and I must say within moments a manager came out could not do enough to make us happy and in fact our server was incredible as well. They made the food right and everything was good… Great value as well. Best place to sit is on the patio

Had a really good 3 course meal here for a really good price ($20). The venue is clean and bright and looks out onto the main road. Central location. Service could be improved but their model seems to be to get people in and out rather than stay a while.

First time here! We had a splendid dinner at this restaurant a few weeks ago. The LULU menu is gigantic and we were excited to see all of the varied options. The patio area near the sidewalk was fun for people watching and made the long wait for our waiter that much more tolerable. They were pretty busy (packed at 7) so I understand the wait for service but I can't remember the last time we had to wait 15 minutes for the staff to acknowledge us - after our table of 5 was seated.

Service: Very slow. Felt like they were understaffed. They ran out of regular water glasses and didn't realize we needed refills because we had a different type of glass. We were seated 25 minutes after our reserved time - a new personal record.Food: They were totally out of their "famous" Lasagna (fine, not a huge problem) but the Meatballs in the Spaghetti came out undercooked. Ground meat should never be served undercooked & pink. It took ages to come out. Tables around us refused their food on account of it taking so long between first & last dishes to come out (as they waited to begin eating out of politeness) so my table was not an isolated case.Ambiance: The decor is pretty neat, gives a 60s vibe but the music blasting over the speakers was dubstep, totally offset from the decor.Overall: The average rating and historic praise for this place is the only thing keeping it afloat. Recent reviews seem to be trending extremely negative. Stay away.

Great venue at the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Arenas Avenue. Relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. You can sit inside or out on the patio facing the main street. For value, would highly recommend the 3-course or 4-course dining menu where you can choose your appetizer, msin dish, and dessert from a selection of choices. At peak evening hours, would recommend you make a reservation.

Nice place to bring our dogs. The staff automatically served fresh water for them and were able to seat us outside. Very friendly staff. We are visiting from Orange county and found this place to be fairly decent. The food was just okay as it is pretty standard American food. The flavor was somewhat lacking. The prices are fairly expensive for the area, but expect about $20 per person after tip

I was very impressed with how serious Lulus is with allergies that their patrons have. They have a complete gluten free menu and even assisted me with my soy allergies. Our waiter, Ramon, was the best as he was persistent in seeing to my allergies were addressed. He checked and double checked to make sure every serving was set to a high standard. I would recommend this bistro to everyone. Great place.

Went for Christmas Lunch, bread was good, soups were ok, 3 out of 5 were hot the other 2 came out cold. Salads we're good but timing between courses was too long. Maid dishes came out cold and took an hour after salads. Dessert was good and came out pretty quick after talking to a manager who ended up discounting the meal. Manager and servers were great and I'm sure many other tables had a great experience from what we saw around us.

My wife and I were out in Palm Springs for a few days get away. We stopped in at Lulu California Bistro. There is a Lulu Bistro near where we live in Orange County which we really like. But when we got here and asked we found out they are not affiliated. This is a wonderful Restaurant. We were there for breakfast. I ordered the south of the border omelette and my wife ordered scrambled eggs. We both enjoyed the breakfast. Out waitress was very nice and we got excellent service. Highly recommend

Fun and upscale retro place for good eats at a decent price. Pretty much all day happy hour menu. 3 and 4 course options with early bird from 3-5.

Breakfast is good, dinner is below average food for above average prices. 3 stars because of their breakfast and because the dinner menu is so huge there is bound to be something good on there, I just haven't found it. With a menu that large and service so quick you can't really expect great food. Definitely not my third choice for dinner when staying in Palm Springs.
