Honestly way better than we anticipated. We were just in Portland a couple months ago and Luke's outshined all the lobster roll style restaurants we've been to prior. The food was fantastic- but the staff is really what made our experience over the top. The assistant manager at this establishment went above and beyond in every aspect- customer service, food recommendations, drink recommendations, and great conversation. He really is a rad guy. Thanks for the great experience.

Luke's is pretty darn reliable, and for all intents and purposes, one of the best and affordable lobster rolls in NYC. This location is umpteen times larger than any other I've seen, and has a great outdoor public plaza to soak in vitamin CC (sun and claws) before winter comes. Waits post order are somewhat lengthy, but appreciate that they seem to take the time to keep quality in check (which I'll wait for).

Combos are great in that you can choose a bottled drink. Much more luxurious than a regular fountain soda. Ginger beer was awesome, much more gingery than ginger ale.Lobster roll was a bit smaller than expected but then you remember it's lobster and can be pretty pricey. The crab roll was creamier and more seafoody and lobster roll had larger chunks with a bit of bite and a simpler taste.

Went here for the first time and I must say the menu is pretty limited but personally that wasn't an issue as I did come for the lobster roll anyway. Kind of was surprised at the portion you get for the price you pay (but I guess that has a lot to do with location). The lobster roll was pretty good and they did prepare it in less than 3 minutes. Not so sure I would come here on a regular basis but definitely a nice treat once in a while.

We ordered the lobster roll & lobster mac n’ cheese combo. The lobster roll was delicious as usual, despite the small portion. The lobster mac n’ cheese was absolutely terrible. The bits of lobster was rubber-ish & made the entire dish taste extremely fishy & you could tell it was microwaved.

Nice service. Sandwiches are way smaller than I thought. So small I laughed. But the flavors were exceptional.

This place is a little gem! Very friendly service and the lobster grilled cheese is so friggen good! Perfectly crispy, cheesy and large buttery chunks of lobster. I’ll certainly be back!

I've never had a lobster roll before and I didn't know what to expect but after trying the lobster roll at Luke's, it's fair to say that they are something I'll eat again. The roll was packed with lobster meat and the bread itself was light, fluffy and slightly toasted. It was not dry at all. Friendly staff and fast service. The cider was very refreshing, so grab that for sure. If you're visiting Manhattan then drop by Luke's.

Really great lobster roll and lovely staff. Meat is tender and juicy, portions are quite small and price is high. Hope they can expand their menu in the future or maybe add some more sauces to choose from. Service is absolutely excellent, efficient and clean store with plenty of seating, even some outdoor tables. Highly recommend if you like lobster!
