This is one of the few places we feel justified in spending money to eat out. The food is excellent, the beer selection is very good, and the service is very good. Everything I've had on the menu has been delicious.During the summer, the open air seating outside in the courtyard offers a very lovely, festive, and relaxed dining experience. The indoor seating offers a similarly communal, and homely feel, but with a hint of formality and familiar restaurant atmosphere. Expect a formal yet relaxed meal with very good beer, occasionally appearing in a large glass boot.

Delicious German food, a great beer selection, and a fun community atmosphere. What more could you ask for? This is definitely one of my new go-to spots when I'm in the area.

I love this place so much! The place is really spacious, enough for you to move and dance. The crowd is perfect!Had such an amazing time with my girlfriends! Bartenders are all nice. Music is great. Will be coming back here again!

I don't know how we missed this spot in San Jose over the last couple of years, but somehow we did. Great German restaurant and beer garden located on the outskirts of downtown. Food was excellent and service was great. Looking forward to enjoying the beer garden in the spring and summer.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we arrived in this delicious place which friends told us about. We enjoyed a lovely experience there with first-rate cooking and a courteous stuff and a professional chef. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will certainly return very soon. Highly recommended.

German food and the feeling at this place is great. Nothing but great experiences here. The bill was reasonable. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.

Very authentic food, felt like I was dining in Germany. German style beer hall seating outside. Blankets and heat lamps for chilly evenings. Good price for large portions. Friendly service!

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a incredible evening and the venue was surely the reason for this happy gathering.
