Luck Gai Cafe

Tucked away in a plaza one probably doesn't frequent because not many places in this plaza is this little thai cuisine. Came here one night because my gf and I like thai food and we like chinese hainan chicken and saw that this place was newly opened a month ago and decided lets try it out. The thai style hainan chicken was pretty good, my gf ordered that and I ordered the ground pork with rice combo. The chicken was tender and the sauce that went along with the dish was a great pairing. I would have to say even though I am a fan of spicy food, the medium level spice was a little hotter than enjoyable for me. It was still good none the less, but next time I probably would go with mild just so I could enjoy it more. The service was good too. My only comment is place needs a bit more air circulation. Since the doors were closed because of the threat of mosquitoes, the interior just got a little warm without too much air circulation.

Lovely Som Tam Thai, different, but very tasty fried spring rolls, and very good kao mun gai. Friendly service. Recommended.

This place is delicious. I’ve been here twice and the food has been absolutely amazing both times. The flavor, spice and quantity of food is perfect. It seems that the menu is changed up a little bit since the last time I was here, but the new additions seem to be pretty good as well. Nice atmosphere, good music… very chill vibe with great food and friendly service.
