Lucca's

I make it a point to eat at Lucca’s every time I am in Helena and am always impressed with the service, atmosphere, and fantastic meals. The cavatappi is my favorite dish and seems to taste better every time I get it! If anyone is looking for a place to eat in Helena, Lucca’s is the way to go.

The service was exceptional. Our server was named Jaime and he was just great. The food was divine. My husband's veal was our favorite of the three dishes. Our daughter had the New York York and it was cooked perfectly. I had the scallops and shrimp and was not disappointed. Spectacular evening.

After visiting Italy, my husband and I tried all the Italian joints near us to satisfy our Italian cravings. Lucca's is the only restaurant in Helena that reminds us of the Italian meals in Tuscany and Rome and has become our #1 spot for special occasion dinners. We've tried other Italian restaurants in town, but always come back to Lucca's. All of their food is exceptional; I have never had a bad meal.

Great Italian Food! Look, I just relocated from Great Falls and I was desperate to finally have some food dining options. Helena has not let me down. Lucca's is officially one of my favorite nice night out restaurants. The menu is fabulous, the wine list is fantastic, and they also serve up some creative specialty cocktails. If you are looking for some quality Italian fare then look no further. You have arrived!!! Ciao!!!

After years of mixed reviews from people we know, my wife and I finally decided to try out Lucca's. I grew up in an Italian ghetto part of Upstate New York. I also spent 10 years in Europe and have eaten many wonderful meals in Italy so I know good Italian food. Both meals that we tried, were not so good. We were also seated near the opening to the kitchen so through our whole meal we had the constant atmosphere of plates and silverware clanking. They charged a bit more than the truck stop diner I would expect that kind of constant din in so we probably won't be back. I'm still giving them three stars because the food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. When we are feeling like Italian, we will either go to Belle Roma and do it up right, or go to On Broadway if we just want a good meal and are being more budget conscious.

4 of us had an amazing meal at Lucca's. Compare to LA where we live the prices are not high yet the quality of the food and the service (thanks Jamie) were exceptional. It was a true dining experience, not just a meal.
