Love at First Bite

Tucked in an alley around the corner from the original Peet's Coffee, you'll find Love at First Bite. I've worked with them on a few weddings and I ordered from them for my birthday in April. Definitely the red velvet and cookies and cream are guaranteed to make your mouth dance in delight! The green tea cupcake and pistachio cupcakes are on the novel side of the spectrum and are good but if you are ordering for a party the first two are sure to be the most popular. The prices are average, about $3-3.50 for a full size cupcake. You can pick up cute party supplies, confections and toppers here too.

Amazing bakery, love their cupcakes! I get them as my go to gifts now. Especially for saying sorry because who’s gonna stay made at you when they’re mouth is having a party and all the richest flavours are invited to donate their decadence? By far the most flavourful and rich cupcakes i've ever had. Like damn imma get diabetes if I keep going there. AND the staff is always friendly and polite, like wow they come straight out of the Great British Baking show. The location is hella nice too, kinda secluded and away from folks so you get a nice rich people feeling eating them. #dontgentrify

I just stopped in hoping to find a chocolate cupcake with mint icing for my wife’s birthday. Many places have said they can’t help me but these amazing ladies just asked me if I could wait a couple of minutes and they would make a few. I’m sure they are going to taste amazing but worth the 5 stars on customer service alone!

Cupcakes look pretty but kind of dry. I was disappointed.

Love!!! I come here when I have a deep craving for cupcakes. Their black bottom, peanut butter cup, and red velvet are pretty amazing and their cupcakes overall are oh-so-cute. I always come here just for one cupcake, but end up leaving with a flight. Note: they're not actually on the street, but they're in the alley'esque complex. Shouldn't be too hard to find though.

For her birthday my daughter ordered a two layer vegan chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It merited 10 out of 10 on taste, appearance, texture and beauty of decoration and satisfied 20 people with 1 slender slice per person., . The cocoanut butter (?) vegan icing was marvelous; I think non vegans would choose it over regular buttercream if they knew how good it is. This was a memorable cake. I initially helped select a vegan bakery and was given good information and suggestions by the owner. Thank you "Love at First Bite"!
