L'Ours Bakery Cafe

This place kind of restored my faith in food. It took me a few days of looking at the menu and needing to try the Coffee Mille Crepes and their coffee list really pushed it. This exceeded any expectations I had. THE COLD WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA IS BETTER THAN STARBUCKS. The Morning Sandwich was really tasty, the perfect portion, and the ingredients were so fresh. I have not had such fresh tasting food anywhere recently (understandably) and this blew me away. The Coffee Mille crepe looks like perfection and all of their packaging is really chic and cute while being more eco friendly than others. This place is a must especially if you have been disappointed with ordering food during quarantine. As well if you are looking for a coffee place that will make you say Starbucks who?

Very cute place. New. Unique drinks available. They offer a punch card so that after you make 6 transactions (on different days), you get a free drink (coffee, smoothing, etc.), which is definitely nice if you go there often. Good hours (open the same hours as the Starbucks next door, so until 10pm every night, even Sundays, which is hard to find in the city.)Small, but Starbucks is next door, so if you can't get a seat at one, you can get a seat at the other. They have a lot of different desserts available as well, but they don't offer any food other than sweets/pastries/etc. A little expensive depending on what you get (still cheaper, more original, and less pre-processed than Starbucks though). They use a lot of thick plastic, but don't have recycling.

Ordered two Golden Milk Teas through yelp/grub hub. Yelp notified me that it was ready for pick up but when I got there, the server said we don't do orders through yelp. I don't think she understood that it was through grub hub. Then she told me that their grub hub app was down, so I was definitely confused about how the order went through and they notified me that my order was ready. The whole thing wasn't their fault and she worked quickly to call her manager to work it out. She was able to make our drinks right away and get them to me quickly. The tea was delicious, but the boba was a bit tough for me. There were a couple piece of boba that were stuck together. Not sure if their cups are bigger or it was just mind game since their cups are taller. Would love to return to try out other drinks on their menu. It also seemed like a place you could study and do work at - they have wifi!
