Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

I did what the Chicago natives do and ordered a deep dish pizza. Sadly, I have realized I'm not a fan of deep dish. Still didn't take away the classic Italian vibe and delicious cheese bread! The personal was the perfect size. Don't come in for a quick bite though, each pizza is made to order (and takes about half an hour)

Had a fantastic experience in here with my girlfriend. The food came rapidly and the customer service is just great. Prices are convenient.

Arrived early (I recommend) and seated immediately. Waited the standard 45 minutes and the pizza was smaller and thinner than I remembered. Also visited other pizza places while in Chicago and this one for sure was the thinner version of the Chicago deep dish. The soup was good and the pizza was tasty! I wanted to like it more but.. Try it out for yourself, The place was packed when we left. Friendly service! Enjoy!

Had the BBQ chicken deep dish. Crust was bland and there was barely any chicken. The chicken included fatty chunks. The place was packed so maybe other pizzas are made better. The bottom crust was very thick and the sides were thin and almost too crunchy to eat. I was not impressed.

Definitely try to come in early noon! We did not have to wait in line at all, and got seated immediately. The chips and dips was an amazing appetizer, and honestly was better than the pizza itself, so would highly recommend. This was my first and to date only deep dish, so it might be that I don't like deep dish in general, but I found the flavor profile to be too strong. Definitely still worth the try though!

Stopped here to try my first deep dish pizza. Forgot what I ordered but it was delicious!! Lots of cheese, not too much sauce, right amount of dough!

We love Malnati's. Love their salad dressing. The medium Lou's will easily serve 2 or 3. We got a small pizza deep dish...4 generous slices. More than enough for two. Probably enough calories for 4. Very crowded. If you want to order out, place your order online before you go.

Restaurant decor is cute. Service and salad were good, deep dish pizza was okay, it ends up rather soggy, but the toppings were tasty. I had a hair (not mine or my husband's) on my pizza, so I didn't want to eat anymore of it, but the server and manager were very nice and accommodating.

Last time I went to Malnati's we got the Classic Chicago Pie, and it was some of the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. You cannot come to Chicago without stopping and trying some.

Best Pizza bar none! Their signature sausage pizza is so delicious, I could only eat 2 pieces and that was me not eating breakfast to save room for pizza. Cannot recommend anything as high as I do this place. I brought my family here once after I had it before and they still talk about it.

Delicious. Accomadated my vegan order, ordered pizza with no cheese. Salad was fresh and excellent. Place hasn't changed in 20 years, though. Same old decor

Nice establishment, my wife and I did not dine in, but we did come for one of there famous deep dish pizza 😁🍕 to take back to the room... We could decide on a small or a medium 🤔, because my wife also wanted a salad. So we got a Caesar salad and medium deep dish pizza. It really takes 35 minutes to make this delicious pizza....It was real, it was authentic Chicago deep dish, so worth going, ps you can really only eat two slices per serving, it's really a deep dish pizza 😁🍕 thanks Lou Malnati's Pizzeria....

My second favorite deep dish pie in chicago( my husbands favorite). Buy some frozen pies toTake Home, they are great for a lazy dinner and the kids love them

When my friends and I asked which pizza place to go for traditional Chicago-style deep dish, almost everyone said Lou Malnati's. We were not disappointed. We ordered a large cheese pizza, which I expected to be a bit bland (not what I would've ordered on my own), but it was delicious. We also got a small sausage, and the middle layer of flattened sausage was as good as I anticipated. The Malnati salad was also really good, potentially the only vegetables my friends and I ingested all weekend. Wine wasn't bad, either. Would definitely go again.

Always a fantastic meal. We always get the classic and it never disappoints. You can taste the quality and attention to detail. It's not the most attractive pie, but what it lacks in appearance is made up for in flavor. Our go-to deep dish spot.
