Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria

It was okay, I feel that it has to much hype and it under deliver. I want sauce cheese and dough, a lot of it too. I did not get that. In my head, I was expecting something huge. I am a big boy so I can eat some. I don't think I would come again but many people love it so this is my opinion. It was fine. The guy giving serving us nine was nice but everything else was okay.

A great place to stop and get Chicago deep-dish style pizza. The appetizer sampler is a good mix of fried vegetables and cheese. The pizza definitely different but delicious. One slice is more than filling but some people may want another because it’s so good.

Everybody comes to Chicago looking for the deep dish pizza. Well, this is definitely one of the places to try it. You can take one of the pizzas they have or make your own. Decent price, two people can perfectly eat a Small size and be good.

Nothing especial about the so well know Chicago's pizza, sorry folks. This one is like a regular American pizza (like Pizza Hut) BUT with home made pastry and fresh toppings, which was good. Different flavor.

Firstly, this is one of the best pizzas in Chicago. It's why I keep coming back. We live a block away, so when my husband says to just get delivery, I shoot him down. We usually order pick up and brave the throngs of people waiting outside and inside to get to the counter and tell them we are picking up an order. And it's never ready.I come ten, fifteen minutes after my pickup time and am asked to wait. This is usually inconvenient because we only order from there if we are meeting friends. I'm stuck at the counter being yelled over because there is no where to go since it's so crowded. 15 minutes later, I'm given my order.This has happened a lot. If you order pickup, don't expect it to be on time. But the pizza is delicious.

Delicious delivery to our hotel in the Loop. Thank You for continuing to serve despite the pandemic. Calamari was seriously the best I've had. Can't wait to dig into the tiramisu...

Traditional Chicago pizza, made very well, and flavors were fantastic. Lack of star for slow service and inconsistent ability to modify pizzas from one location to another.I would definitely eat here again, but I think my personal preference may be with Gio's

So delicious! We hit it at a busy time but not long of a wait and well worth it. The Caesar salad was plentiful and fresh. Our pizza was amazing and the buttery crust was perfect. A great recommendation from our hotel staff!

Absolutely delicious!! I was in Chicago for 3 days and had deep dish at 3 different places, and this was BY FAR the best! We got there on Saturday around 11:45 and just barely beat the lunch rush. We were seated right away and ordered our deep dish with the butter crust (More money but so worth it). We ordered a personal one for the two of us to share, and we both wished we had ordered more because it was so good! I will definitely go back next time I’m in Chicago!

Arrived early (I recommend) and seated immediately. Waited the standard 45 minutes and the pizza was smaller and thinner than I remembered. Also visited other pizza places while in Chicago and this one for sure was the thinner version of the Chicago deep dish. The soup was good and the pizza was tasty! I wanted to like it more but.. Try it out for yourself, The place was packed when we left. Friendly service! Enjoy!

Great service. Friendly and helpful the whole time. Food was pretty good. We got "The Lou" deep dish and while it had great flavor it was a little soggy even after ordering it well done on our waiters recommendation. I'm not a huge fan of having to drain my pizza before I eat it. Still tasted good though!

I thought I didn't like Chicago-style pizza all that much... I thought wrong. Lou Malnati's was so insanely good, from the crust to the pounds of toppings they load on top.I've had some deep dish pizzas that are like a casserole stuffed into a bread boat, but this was much better. I'm not exaggerating when I say a slice is enough here based on how much they pack in, and it's all very rich and flavorful.Our server was great too, balancing everything out for a good-sized group while bringing a great energy.There are a ton of locations in Chicago and I'm 100% going back here next time I come up. Best Chicago style pizza I've ever had!

The pizza is really good, and it is one of the best meals I remember from my trip, but it is so greasy, that you can pour it out. That is what makes it good, I guess. It can get very busy, and I waited about an hour for my take-out after a busy event, but it was worth the wait.

Love this place. We lived in the Chicago area for 5 years and we loved the pizza from some of Malnati's peers, but I hadn't been here until a recent business trip back. Fantastic Pizza! I went early on a Friday evening and still had to wait, but I could order my pizza and it was ready when I sat down. You can also order drinks while you're waiting. I will return!
