It's a pretty place, there is a variety of restaurants and cafes, place to sit outside. So even if you don't go to opera, you can enjoy the surroundings

This place needs English guide. The art displayed is pretty good.

Nice complex and hall facilities, so convenient with parking by car or close to Hatsudai station by train. The Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall was so nice for bit more casual audience too, but of course with good acoustics. Seems like they have a good line-up of performers. If you go, they also have a nice selection of casual restaurants and an open air atrium with a huge statue “Opera Man” that sings sometimes, and performers play.

The Japanese know how to build great theatres and this is no exception. I have visited one of the theatres and it was very large with fantastic seating and every seat had great sightlines, not a bad seat in the house. I unfortunately had little time to explore this complex but be assured that attached tot he theatres are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The opera theatre that is also in the complex comes highly recommended to me.

One of the best concert halls in the world

We watched Carmen in concert style by Tokyo Philharmonic orchestra. It was amazing.

Quick access to the sub way and many shops hidden in and around here. Definitely worth your time checking this place out.
