Great laid back atmosphere. Food is much, much better and unique than the name suggests.

Came out to hear a good friend, Richard Marx, playing on the patio. The tamale plate was pretty good and so were the margaritas. The manager came out to chat with our table for a bit too, excellent to meet him. Will definitely be back!

Whoever says they are bland or lacking flavor must be crazy! This is hands down the best Mexican food in town. I personally had the enchiladas verdes with all the pep and freshness I expect from the plate with a savory chicken filling. That tomato stack salad has flavor that’s out the door! It’s amazing. I will be honest, it is a little more than the standard chain restaurant like Macayo’s (not much more though) but to get a dish that relies more on flavor, herbs, and seasoning than grease and fat to create a pleasing dish is well worth a couple extra bucks. Oh, and the Steve-a-Ritas have a fantastically well balance of sweet and tart without that sickly artificial flavor that so many have. I have since gone keto, but any cheat I do will be here.

Excellent addition to the uptown neighborhood! The owner was so kind and is genuinely excited to share their flair on delicious Mexican food. Service is great, patio is adorable, and margaritas are perfecto. Nice place for a group event or romantic evening out.

Queso was different but very good as was the salsa. The main meal also very good. Recommend trying it if your not in a hurry.

These guys are doing it right with all safety measures in place!! Their central mexican cuisine and margaritas are delicious, and the beers next door at Sunup are the best.

Nice little spot to get some really good tasty mexican food . It not your average mexican food I had some good cheese enchiladas with patatoes, carrot and extra cheese. The portions are a bit small for the price point but the flavor made up for it.

In short: You walk into what feels like a home and are introduced to fresh, rich ingredients that make you wonder where the flavors have been hiding your whole life. Highly recommend the Jicama & Orange salad and the Mexican chocolate creme pie.Longer version: I ordered the Jicama & Orange salad, Pollo con Espinacas, Stevearita signature margarita and the Mexican chocolate creme pie.Starting with the salad: The salad had a great spice and citrus balance with the orange slices providing a refreshing sweet finish. The ingredients mixed so well and honestly couldnt stop eating it.The Pollo con Espinaces was savory, tender and creamy. Rich chipotle sauce that you just couldnt stop dipping your tortillas in.Stevearita signature margarita is how margaritas should be made. Fresh ingredients and a nice kick.Mexican chocolate creme pie is a mix between fudge and mousse. Rich creamy cocoa you dont want to share. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate and ate half the slice of pie.
