Without a doubt the best authentic Mexican food restaurant in Santa Barbara! I love coming here to eat and always encourage everyone I know to do so as well. Wonderful food and service.

Nice cozy, order from the counter Mexican restaurant. Can be a little pricey but the food is all good quality. Nice place to order a plate of Nauchos and a beer, sit outside in the front and people watch. Heaters out fro t for when it is cold. Salsa bar is also very good. You can order to go online and easily order takeout pickup or delivery also.

This is a wonderful place that offers many types of Mexican food with an amazing salad bar wiitch offers very delicious salsa sauces and other goodies. My only complaint is that they make the food very salty I hope they read this review and consider reducing the salt and allow clients to add salts themselves.

Amazing Mexican food with a complex flavor. Portions are generous while not overwhelming. Rice and beans are well balanced when paired with the man dish. The Al Pastor is delicious with a sweet pineapple flavor. Atmosphere is casual with a relaxed feel. Staff was helpful and polite. Will go back again with friends.

Great food, beautiful presentation, good service, good prices. Parking is hard to find, and you'll probably have to wait in line. It's worth it.

Los Agaves is a lively location, super busy, and even for a walk up counter, quick delivering, full blown sit down restaurant it will take some time to receive your order but it is worth the wait. Their specials are so unique and fresh and taste fantastic. I received my dish that featured shrimp and was less than $15! It tasted like a $22 plate you would get at any other restaurant. Large groups are welcome but don't count on getting all your orders out at once if it's busy. Great date spot or place for a few friends. Dogs are welcome in the patio but don't bring your massive Dane or St. Bernard. You know better. Cheers!

The tacos del mar were some of the best tacos I have ever had. The tortillas are incredible, and the consistency and proportion of ingredients is masterful. I will try to emulate it in my own tacos. The rice is delicious. The beets in the salad and tacos are a nice touch. Great service. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.

So delicious. I had a fish taco which was perfect and I loved their salad with bits of mango and pomegranate. The strawberry margarita was lovely. I would definitely go back.

Amazing place and Amazing food! But the only thing is that the cashiers shouldn't tell a customer. No. And I mean never. If is simple or check with managers. Fix it, please! Loved eating there.

Loved it! My first time eating there and I had the tacos del mar. One fish and one shrimp. Both were great however the shrimp won overall. Nice sized shrimps and delish! Also a great mango Margherita! Before 5pm is happy hour for drinks :)

Loved the authentic feel of this place, and the shrimp tacos were amazing. Cadillac margarita was superb and not too sweet as requested.
