London Chophouse

This is a world-class, historic restaurant in the heart of downtown Detroit. Service - beginning with the valet and doorman is focused on a posh visitor experience. We visited for New Year's Eve with a set menu. The cuisine was outstanding from the bisque to the duck, and our main course - the LCH signature filet mignon. Dessert was elegant and rich. The dining experience is enhanced with dinner music by a wonderfully talented quartet. We ended our evening upstairs, in the cigar lounge with cocktails and fine cigars. A delightful, indulgent way to ring in the New Year!

This was my first earring experience in Downtown Detroit on my trip. From the doorman/ greeter to the server, everything was really nice. The food was delicious. Their fried Brussel Sprouts are absolutely delicious. Everything I ate was great.

The London Chop House was an amazing experience! The food was out of this world, and the service and ambiance where spot on. We spent some time before and after dinner in the cigar lounge which was comfortable and the Bartender was helpful with our million questions.

Absolutely amazing food. Delicious steak and seafood, great service. This place is a classic Detroit institution, definitely a must visit, at least once!

Dinner was fantastic! Spent a lot of money but it was very worth it for my girlfriend's birthday. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a great meal. Food time was great too. Only wait 5-10 minutes for our appetizers. Another 10 minutes later our entrees came out. Dorian the door man was awesome too. Just a great experience overall

Went here with high expectations for a special occasion after hearing about it.. was actually quite shocked that it not only lived up to the hype but surpassed it. Calamari appetizer is some of the best I've had. Staff is extremely courteous, from the doorman to the server, everyone goes out of their way to ensure great service. They serve creekstone steak options as well!

Food was great, atmosphere and service top notch. Definetely a place to visit, and enjoy!

The steak tartare was phenomenal. Service is excellent. Went for lunch and felt like I was in a time machine. All of the food was excellent.

Outstanding restaurant. I sat at the bar and had fantastic service, granted I was only one of at the most during my time at the bar four customers, with most of the time, just me and one other person. The food was great, cooked as expected, and as described. The hardwood look is great, and very old school in my book. During my visit they had live piano music which was also great.

Excellent excellent service and food quality. I was having a horrible night and they’ve did everything to make it better. I could not ask more from a place. I would definitely go back without hesitation or recommend my friends to go here for a classy dining experience.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, fantastic service, and a charming door man! A little but of Detroit history that you have to visit!

First time back since remodel and was pleased. Staff very attentive and food tasty. Very surprised as we were celebrating two Birthdays and the place is EXPENSIVE and we had to pay for two deserts. This left a very bad taste and we most likely will not be going back. Great place to enjoy a wonderful great tasting meal and superb service. The lobster bisque, salmon and spinach were a few tasty choices on the menu. Well worth a visit when visiting downtown Detroit.

The food is perfect. The atmosphere is beautiful. I would love to keep coming!
