Local Cuisine Yukara No Sato

Tiny little place, great staff, delicious ramen. Fairly limited menu, which is exactly what you want for a place like this. No frills and little seating.

Small ramen stall with just three tables and seats at the counter. They specialize in spicy miso ramen. The waiter who welcomed us seemed to know what we needed instinctively...English menus and understood what we wanted to order. He even split the 6 gyozas evenly between the two tables we sat at separately. The noodle is springy and portion is generous with lots of bamboo shoots and bean sprouts, though the miso soup is rather salty. We also ordered the fried rice and gyoza which they claim they sell 50,000 every month! Both were really good. Must try!

Quaint restaurant with outstanding gyoza and top notch ramen. Seating is limited; the line stretching along the sidewalk moved quickly. The service was friendly, with a smile and the servers spoke great English making it even easier for our crew.
