Lizard's Thicket

The food is good. I frequent the establishment. There are time the food taste better but most of the time it is tasty. The window service is also inconsistent for good service. Like much of SC.

Me and my family are dinner here tonight. And our waitress was Hallie she is amazing. She is super friendly, and nice. She was especially nice to my daughter. Even brought her a coloring page and gave her a pack of Graham crackers when we were leaving.

Incredible down home Southern food. Go in hungry you will not be disappointed

Good food rather slow service but all around good.

We brought 3 toddlers to eat with us and our waitress was incredibly helpful. She brought them booster seats right away, water in to-go cups, coloring pages, and she brought them animal crackers when they were done eating. Any parents of small children knows it can be challenging to go out to eat, but Lizards Thicket is always so accommodating. The food was delicious, as always. The collards, mac and cheese, and fried chicken are out of this world. Great food,great staff!

Ordered food to be delivered and they didn't give me all items I ordered. Most significant was the lack of rolls even though i had ordered 2 extra sets of rolls. So i had to use chat to communicate and then after being refunded i was told they ran out of rolls. Ok, I get that but seriously you didn't have he items I ordered but you charged me and kept the money until I called. Technical term "theft." You only returned it after you got caught.

Chicken breast was a little dry, veggies were pretty good. Server was pleasant. Good deal for meat and 3. Would definitely go back but probably try something else.

Whenever you want southern cooking without cleaning up dishes this is the stop. Their fish, and smothered steak are must haves. Their breakfast is also delicious and filling too. If you are watching your budget you won't be disappointed.

I like to buy the little plates for my grandboys. The food is good. I love the service and the people.

This one is good although my workmate refuses to eat here. Maybe a little more attention to doing the sides properly would be helpful, but I love their BBQ chicken.

I ask for cream corn because my Mom can't eat whole corn. It was whole corn in a cream. They ran out of Mac and cheese, so 40 mins before it would be ready. Drive thur slow. What I ordered was not great.

It was pretty good food. Never had mustard based bbq sauce before so that was different! The bbq chicken was good and the fried okra was good too. Had banana pudding for dessert and it was good as well. Not a bad place to get some home cooked meals and not too expensive.

A nice pleasant eating experience with good Southern supper style food.
