Small BBQ shed with great food and great people, who are proudly making awesome smoked meats. An absolutely non fancy place with a couple of tables inside and a larger outside area next to the big smokers and the small parking lot. People are willingly standing for an hour or more in line to get their food.

The location that I visit is on University Dr. It is small and a line starts forming early at around 10:45. There are only a few tables (2-3) inside and picnic tables outside which can be hot in the summer. However, regardless of the lack of parking, the line outside the BBQ is amazing! If you do not get there early, you will miss out as they often sell out of brisket. There are other choices as well, sausage, turkey and pulled pork. This is no frills, just the basics. I am from Texas and I believe the owner is too. I can tell you having grown up on TX BBQ, I couldn't find any BBQ place here in Phoenix that I could go to and enjoy until Lil Miss BBQ. Few things to know. Closed on Mondays, evenings and weekends. I think they may have another location in town now that might be open. The one on University is mainly a lunch joint. Be prepared to fight for a parking place, stand in line and probably take it to go for lack of seating. But I promise you won't find better BBQ anywhere closer.

For the Phoenix metro area this brings the taste of real BBQ within reach. Not quite sure the wait is worth all the hype but the food is well prepared and the limited staff is friendly and fair with the portions. Should you try it once ? Yes. What should you try? Brisket, pulled pork for sure... no suprises.

Got here early to beat the line, and people were here before me. Show up at 10 and work remote till they open. That way you get fresh food and beat the crowd.Great friendly staff and nice customers in the line. I had a great meal here and I will be back. The lean brisket and pork ribs are my go to items. I heard amazing things about the pastrami while I was eating.Also you can buy their sauces in bottles and they will refill them for you at a discounted price? Awesome.

What a great place. The food is delicious and we even got offered a tour. You should try to get there early because they might sold out just a few hours after opening.

Driven by this place for years and finally stopped today for lunch. Sorry I waited so long - both food and staff are amazing! Really cool to see people take pride in their service and product. Will definitely be back soon. Be sure to get there early to avoid long lines.

Overall service was great but wait time is wayyy too long. Definitely not worth the wait for the fat brisket. Was only about 15 people ahead of me and it was an hour wait. There is only one person serving and one cashier. Should work on the overall service process better.

Went in with my friends to see what all the hype was about and I was blown away. You get in line and they're giving out free samples, they have Mike making friends with every single guest in line. The workers are extremely friendly and professional. There's plenty of choices of meat and they make it easy to mix and match. They have the best grits I've EVER had. All the meats had so much flavor. It is honestly some of the best food I've had in my life.

They get five stars for the food because it’s absolutely amazing. They get three stars for location, parking, and accessibility. That’s why it’s an even four. The people there are pretty amazing and definitely know how to cook up some grub. It’s just so hard to get in there because they are so popular. I guess popularity isn’t a bad thing, but I liked it when you guys first opened and no one really knew about you.

Just ate here for lunch and it was beyond expectations! We came late in the day so selection was limited but the brisket and sausage were amazing! The crew was super friendly and Michael gave us a pecan pie!! Best pie ever! Thank you all! I’ll recommend you to everyone

Very very pleased with my experience at Little Miss BBQ!Some of the best Texas BBQ I have ever had outside of Texas!Really glad I grabbed a couple extra pounds of the brisket and sausage! The staff was super friendly and very helpful.Had a little bit of a wait but nothing to bad.Do your tastebuds and belly a favor and stop on by!

Worth every bit of the wait. Brisket and sausage are most popular but don’t be afraid to get the pulled pork. It was second to none.

The line is worth the wait. We got there right when they opened and had to wait in line about 10 minutes. The brisket is awesome and the jalapeño cheese grits are to die for. We weren't as wild about the beans. The smoked pecan pie was pretty good as well. Worth going out of your way for this place.

I'm not sure, but I haven't noticed halal mentioned on the menu when I have visited.
