Little Dipper Diner

Great place and nice food

We were looking for a great breakfast place nearby and noticed this little diner. A very welcoming and clean place. Super friendly staffs. We were seated and drinks served in a couple of minutes.The menu covers all classic diner dishes with a few twists such as reindeer sausage. As usual I ordered chicken fried steak as my go to in order to gauge the quality of the diner food. I elected for country potatoes and substitute the toast with their pancake. My partner ordered the unique reindeer sausage.Foods came within 10 minutes. They were hot and the portions were quite substantial.The chicken fried steak had a thin crunchy crust, thick and well seasoned juicy cubed steak. Gravy was creamy and perfectly seasoned. Eggs well cooked. Reindeer sausage tasted great but can't differentiate it from regular sausage. I am very particular with the pancakes. Theirs were perfect. Fluffy and chewy. Would come back for sure.

A breakfasts and lunch dinner that closed at three daily. I had the Western cheeseburger, my wife the cheeseburger and the kids had breakfast for lunch with the 1x1, condition of an egg, s pancake and a piece of bacon. The sweet potato fries with my burger were crunchy and good. The burger was well prepared with onion straws. The BBQ sauce tasted out of a bottle but was not bad. Overall the meal was good and the price was right. We'll hit it again when we are in Anchorage during the hours it is open.

Pretty good food, prices weren't bad either. Decor was cool too. Arcade machines were awesome

Most excellent service, food and atmosphere. Felt like a small town diner without the open kitchen. Prices are average and cimorabke to any where else. I had the Clubhouse traditional style with the potato salad. The salad was homemade and most excellent. My mother could have made it lol. 10 stars all day. It's the only time I ate there for my buddies Birthday lunch. He had the Big Dipper basically a French dip with caramelized iniibs and granlvy instead of aus jous. Enjoy peace

Lots of Coca-cola memorabilia. It's a nice mom-and-pop. Good food and friendly staff.

If you go here you have to try the country Benedict. Sooooo good

portions are enormous. food is awesome. coffee is great. diner is 50s theme. waiters are friendly, and service is fast. was our first stop in alaska, and was great.

I’ve had better service and food. It wasn’t even that busy when we came in however I don’t know how many employees passed us before someone sat us down. Another five minutes to get our menus and the wait for the food was a bit. Let alone our waitress took forever to get us our bill. It wasn’t until another employee noticed us finishing up that he came by and got it for us. Overall impression, meh.

This place is amazing!! FRIENDLY STAFF and great food! Anybody talking about bad service or food needs a reality check.

This is an informal place that works hard to please their guest. The cooks take pride in serving food they they themselves would sit down to eat. My spouse and go 16 miles out our way to have breakfast here. My wife works nights so she has dinner there at breakfast time,they never mind it. Portion sizes are nice here. They have a senior menu and there's a nice priced special going on. Worth checking out!
