Lion City Restaurant

So we visited Lion City after seeing it on EATER best restaurant list, and I must say this restaurant lives up to the hype! The staff are SO friendly and courteous, but best of all the food is fantastic. I ordered the Oh Luak oyster omelette and I'm already craving it again two days later. It had a mix of big and small oyster chunks through-out and its just unforgettable. The satay skewers appetizer is also fantastic, we got the pork skewers and the meat had a fantastic taste but it even better with their spicy peanut sauce. Overall I am very excited to visit again and to try some of Lion City's other dishes!

Lion City Restaurant serves up some authentic tasting Malaysian/Singaporean food. Their Tom Yum, Tom Kha Kha and Laksa soups are amazing... you'll feel like you're back in South East Asia! Some other Malaysian staples like roti channai however aren't recommended as these seem to be regular frozen parathas you can get in supermarkets, not made fresh. I'd still recommend trying this place!

Carrot cake has a nice crispy surface, but soft and fluffy inside. Nice coating of spice, sauce and egg. Nasi Lemak is my go to dish here. Love the fish and rice has a nice coconut fragrance.
