Great place to relax and have an awesome cup of coffee

The most important thing about this coffee shop is its cause: to help the neighborhood! It is truly a mix of all the people who call Bates-Hendricks home. Maybe you're drawn by the $1 cuppa joe (which is amazing) ...or the hand-crafted honey lavender latte (which is super amazing). I love to come on Tuesdays for Toddler Tuesday, when the noise of my three kids is actually encouraged and there are lots of other moms to talk to. They bring out toys for kids and you get a free hot chocolate when you buy a latte. But the community is the best part and it is FREE! P.S. When it's not Tuesday this is probably the quietest coffee shop in the city. It's a great place to work in peace :)

Well, was not a fan of the Rwanda coffee and the next one was also not my thing. Veggie burrito was spicy, did not expect that. Croissant was good. Staff is excellent and friendly, ambiance is nice too.

Awesome place! Community centered and Great mission. Gave it 4 stars because my chai latte was not the best I've had. Wasn't as hot as I would've hoped for and it was soooo sweet.

A little community center that gives you a place to do landry for cheap and a place to relax and maybe read a book or do some work and provides free WiFi.

Went there for a play date and coffee with a friend. We have 3 kiddos between the 2 of us and it was wonderful. Good coffee and fun atmosphere for the kids. Will be back for sure!

This is a nice little coffee place that benefits the community. Part of the proceeds from sales go to helping the children of the area. They don't have a huge selection but everything I have tried was very tasty. Check it out !

Since opening, I come here almost every morning before work. Their house blend is amazing. Perfectly roasted coffee every time, and absolutely no burnt beans. Oh, did I mention that their coffee is $1? Super affordable for such a good start to my day.
