It was alright.Service was kinda funny. Had to get up to get more water and napkins. Bathroom sink didn't have any water pressure. Food was decent but very spicy (we did order spicy stuff though). Overall it was okay and I didn't get sick but I probably wouldn't visit again or recommend it.

Food tastes great and good portions with reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and usually able to get a seat and food quickly just don't take credit card for payment

Tiny restaurant, we had 20 people coming. Lady was rude and refused outright to seat us, told us to leave. We kept asking until she agreed. 15 minutes later she once again refused to seat us. After some fighting we were seated. Only 2 menus were provided for a large group until we asked for more. Food was well priced and was very yummy. I am glad I got to try it. I recommend this place for TAKEOUT only. call in, order, and pick up. Such a better idea.

Good selection of hakka food. You can't beat the price! Service could be better. Wait staff could be more attentive and helpful. But you will be full and happy when you leave

This is actually prob one of the best hakka spots in Toronto/scarb/sauga. The place looks a little whack, but the food is fire.Food is good portions, but still light on the oil so you don't feel like passing out after eating it like at other Hakka spots.

Good value. Still the best Hakka in town.

Conveniently located at the corner of Pharmacy & Sheppard, Scarborough.Delicious food for take outs. I ordered chili chicken which was awesome. Shrimp in curry sauce went pretty well with mushroom fried rice. The place is also good for dine in.Simple & with friendly staff

A landmark in the city for excellent Hakka Chinese food. The quantities while dining in are exceptional and the tastes are mouth watering. A note for those can't handle spice: order mild if you're unsure and it will be just spicy enough to make you wish you didn't ask for Medium spice. And the same goes for if you like it spicy - order Medium spice and you can always make it spicier by adding the chili sauce at each table. Enjoy!

Set in a quiet nondescript plaza at Pharmacy and Sheppard, Lin Garden serves good hakka food amidst a wood-panelled dining room that seems to be stuck in the 80s. Pleasant, efficient service that bring out the food fast. Known for chilli chicken, I think the crispy beef is better. Spiciness level isn't really spicy so top up with the hot sauce at the table if needed. Large dining area that can accommodate 80+ people. The set dinner menus are a great value - For about $40, you get like 8 dishes!

This restaurant sets the standard for Hakka cuisine in ALL of Toronto. I was coming here for over a decade and the quality is the same; exceptional. Its the food that counts, not the decor.

Food was fresh and warm. Extremely flavourful and slightly spicy Hakka food. I recommend putting the spicy vinegar and chilies onto your food for an extra kick. Portions are big and you really can’t beat these prices.Service was pretty fast and servers were friendly. Would definitely come back.

Been going here for a long time. But now I can't even eat here without questioning the quality of the meat.. It's gotta be better.. Sometimes u get bones in boneless chilli chicken and it feels like the meat is just mad cheap which is why portions are bless.. Let's just say go with jus noodles or fried rice and all vegetables if ur trying to eat any " real" food there. Maria and Michael the owners are awesome tho, she speaks Swahili and Hindi and she's Asian! Next level.

..A little lesson from a Hakka girl: Ancient Hakka people are pretty much Chinese nomads. That’s why there’s such a wide range of Hakka food - Hakka-Indian, Hakka-Thai, Hakka-Hong Kong, Hakka-Pakistani, and the list goes on and on..The one thing I regret is that I never learned how to make Hakka food from my paternal grandparents when they were around - memories was... it was dang good!!.Anyhow, our impromptu lunch date brought us to a Hakka-Indian restaurant. And believe it or not, I’ve never had Chicken Pakora - or any kind of pakora! So I was absolutely blown away by this dish! And according to @markhamfoodie, the next time I go back, I got to order their shrimp pakora - if I think this is good, THAT is supposed to be even better

Questions & Answers

My friend, I am a customer... I haven't any clue whether the chickens are slaughtered at all
