I had my birthday dinner there and they gave us a private table in the back. Service was perfect, staff was so friendly and readily Available and food was amazing as always!!! Thank you guys for everything. This has always been my favorite Mexican restaurant in louisville.

I just went for taco week last night. Best tortillas in the city. Best al pastor in the city. Free Chips and Salsa when you sit down. Excellent service by Peto.

This was our first visit to Limon y Sal. Very nicely decorated with roomy, comfy booths. The food was delicious, fresh and well prepared. My Carnitas were juicy and tasty. (It's very easy to let these types of dishes get overdone and dry.). DH had the beef Chimichanga. I tasted his dish and found it juicy and flavorful. (Definitely on my list to order on a return trip). My only extremely minor issue was the sauce provided with my Carnitas was painfully spicy! (I have a respectable capacity for spicy food and DH has asbestos taste buds.). He also found the sauce to be uncomfortably spicy. Service was attentive and helpful without being "in your face.". All in all, a lovely way to hide from the heat furnace outside 🌞🌞🌞

Nice and clean establishment. Lunch menu offers a good variety as well as large portions. Top shelf margaritas are fairly priced so I'll definitely be going back and bringing a few friends as well.

Excellent food. Very tasteful and pleasantly presented. Enough to reach out and grab anyone appetite. I will highly be recommending this restaurant. Another point, cotton cloth napkins, great chips and hot sauce, and cleanliness is the word here. Prices are moderate & staff were great.

This place has THE BEST tacos that I have ever had stateside. Delicious! Their drinks can be a little inconsistent, but the tacos more than make up for it, and alone are deserving of 5 stars.

I love this place!! My husband and I live about 10 minutes from here and it’s become our go to spot. The drinks are delicious and the food is to!

The Mexican bowl that I ordered was delicious. Shrimp, chicken, steak all on a bed of rice was awesome. My friend's ate a huge burrito stuffed with rice beans and beef and cheese. Someone else ordered a huge burritos plate covered with cheese chicken and rice and beans and veggies.

The food and drinks are good traditional fare, and the prices are reasonable. We had the Appetizer Sampler and California Burrito and Margaritas. The Burrito was huge and had delicious grilled steak, rice, and beans inside a flour tortilla which was covered in a creamy queso! The restaurant has been renovated and now provides an even more enjoyable experience!

This place is really really good. It's way bigger than it seems from the outside, and all the staff was friendly. Wife had a chicken tinga quesadilla, and really enjoyed it, I got the chicken tinga taco salad, and my wife's Grandpa got the chicken tinga Burrito grande. Can recommend them all. Everything was delicious, they had two salsa types for those who like spicy. The chicken was ridiculous. It tasted so good. And it tasted fresh, and clean, like it was just nice clean ingredients before being cooked, unlike other restaurants that taste like they came from frozen packs and reheated (looking at you olive garden) The rice with the quesadilla was a little bland, but still really good, and had that same "clean" feel and taste. Highly recommend this place, we'll definitely be back.
