The seating and cleanliness of this place could be a little better.

People are so friendly and the cold brew is so gooood!

I happened to be in LIC and happened upon this place while looking for a cup of coffee. So I dropped in for a cuppa & and an almond croissant, both very good. Sat at a pleasant table near the window. What seduced me into staying longer than I had planned, though, was their soundtrack, which meandered up and down along the soul / country axis. I didn't hear a bad cut in the maybe 3/4 hour I was there.

This is the place to go for delicious hand made goodies. Quiche, focaccia, croissants, muffins; you name it.

My husband said not to go because it's never been good since it's changed a couple of owners since he was little. I said, "I'd like to try it out"...I regretted it. I just wish I went to Sweet leaf. It was severely underwhelming. It was a bodega with cold croissants and parking for dogs.

Personally, I didn’t like the coffee, it taste horrible, it was like they put alcohol in it.

After passing by this spot numerous times, I decided to give it a try today. I definitely recommend. Great food and great desserts. Give it a try!

I came in after 2:15 and bought several drinks and food and at 5:15 the owner told me I had 15 minutes. I looked at the clock and said that I'd been told they closed at 6:00. She said, "I know." I worked until 5:45 when the owner said they were closed. I mentioned that there was a few more minutes until close and she told me that "didn't work for my timeline." I packed and left and simply told her on the way out that if she wanted people to leave at 5:45, she should list closing time for 5:45 and not 6:00. She even felt the need to follow me outside to complain, and was extremely rude to boot. Will never go back and would not recommend.

We found this coffee randomly and that was a great surprise: staff is very welcoming, they even offered us 2 scones (much much appreciated). Also, the place is cute. Definitely recommended :)

Food is great and staff is always super friendly. Their breakfast and lunch food is all good. The lunch menu changes a little day to day which is nice. They have an awesome assortment of baked goods. The hand pies are amazing! They used to have the best chocolate chip cookie ever but i think the recipe changed, its not the same.
