The metro is only a 5min walk away from Radisson Blu in Media City. Also taxis are frequently outside and will cost you approx 50aed to Dubai Mall. Radisson can organise a Lexus car to take you, but these cars are from private companies and are at a higher rate. It's a great location to get around, as its entry and exit points are not congested with traffic and the metro is not such a bad walk.

Not sure but looking at the hotel it doesn't seems to be very new.
