Cool unpretentious taproom with excellent beer!

Neighborhood bar with great beer selection. Staff is friendly and we always have a great time.

The beer and drink selections are fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere - the covered patios are perfect for a low key evening or a night out with friends. You have to try the buffalo chicken pizza and the beer cheese. You won't regret it!

Cool place to hang and try something new!

Food was pretty good, service was a little slow.

Web presence still says they are a homebrew supply store. Made a small detour on my way back to Louisville while working in Lexington to pick up some gear I needed for my new Kegerator. Despite saying they are a homebrew supply store online and still brandishing the AHA sticker on the front door, I was informed by staff that they hadn't sold homebrew supplies since September of last year.

Love this place came here a month ago for brunch and a awesome Bloody Mary and a tasty breakfast pizza. Tonight I'm back and had their Beerworks Pizza. Great atmosphere. Great music. Great beer. Great pizza

Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, definitely recommend!!

I really like Beerworks. I have been several times and would recommend it to anybody that enjoys good beer and a great setting.My complaint is more about the staff. They aren't sociable at all. Typically when you go to a bar you want to talk to the guy behind the counter a little to just chat or get a recommendation. Here they just want you to order and leave them alone. There is ZERO interaction on taste preference or conversation. I even watched a bartender lie to a patron about the beer. I was so shocked he did that I went outside and told the guy that the bartender had lied to him. That a full glass of foam does not settle to a full glass of beer.

I buy my beer supplies from upstairs all the time for home brewing. Downstairs tends to be a small sized bar with outdoor seating. Great for a date or a bite to eat since they have a decent selection of both beer and food.

Great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat. They also have a full brewing supply store upstairs to support your home brewing needs. They also offer classes for pretty much every skill level of brewer.

Great place to grab a beer. Mimosas and brunch are pretty amazing here as well.
