Cash only - their cakes are delicious (the amaretto one is really good) and there is a wide selection of baked goods to satisfy any sweet tooth. Parking is a bit of a hassle since it's on the street but usually on the weekends it's ok (unless it's winter and there's a lot of snow)

Their pastries are delicious. Best Zeppoles I've ever had.

Wide selection of amazing cakes for every occasion. They're all delicious! They also have fresh bread, pizza, pastries and cookies! Their prices are also reasonable and great service. The perks of this place: there's free coffee and cookie samples.

We ordered our wedding cake from here... It was a total fail... We received something totally different from what we ordered.. We ended up throwing it away.. nd we rented a fake one for the event... Waste of time and money... They are overbooked... And have no time for customer service...

Delicious cakes and pastries. Buy the stuff made in-house for the best experience. They have some other sweets from other places (examples: gluten free stuff from Cookie Stephanie or Mi & Stu, etc.), but you can find those elsewhere for less.

what can I say that hasn’t been said already...For years now, each and every birthday in my immediate and extended family have been celebrated with one of Lafrenaie heavenly cakes. A family tradition that will carry on! My preferred location is in St Léonard, with their samples, accompanied by a cappuccino, i never leave empty handed... their lemon cookies , cappuccino biscotti and homemade tarallis like nonna used to make, to name a few, are worth the trip Thanks Lafranaie, for making any occasions just a little bit sweeter :-)

I have been a client here for the past 10 years. Their cakes are the best in Montreal!! I have never been disappointed with their products or the service. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their cakes are delicious and their new Nutella Horns are a must!! You better buy a dozen because you are for sure eating 6 on the way home!! These past holidays I had their Tiramisu Log and my whole family loved it! Best quality for price you will find in Montreal!! Even when I'm off the island I go to their other 3 stores to pick up some sweet treats for my family or friends that I'm going to visit. They must hire also the best cake decorators because every time I order a specialty fondant cake for an event they come out flawless, as of they took them straight out of a magazine! Great job Les Delices Lafrenaie I will be seeing you soon!!

Beautiful cannoli-tiramisu cake

The chocolate crepe cake with Nutella cream and hazelnuts was great. They would have scored 5/5 if the hazelnuts was in the middle of the crepes as well as on top.

It is the best of the best, and I happily drive the distance to St. Leonard to even view new products. It makes people happy to have Lafrenaie ...a superb treat.
