Great staff, nice ambiance, consistently good food and coffee. Not much seating, but actual non-disposable dishes if you do stay.

I feel like this is one of the most underrated restaurants in the city. Portions are really good for the price and the service is very welcoming. Last of The Oaxacans is a great cocktail if you like mezcal. The noise level can be pretty high from the bar crowd though so if you are looking for a quiet romantic date, you might want to look somewhere else like Benno Restaurant, which is conveniently located right next door.

We had wanted to stop by this restaurant after following them on Instagram for a while. They exceeded expectations! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were attentive, helpful, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. Our server, Callie, gave us the best recommendations and service we could have asked for! Last but not least, we took a couple cakes to go. They were amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a top quality dining experience. 10/10

Sunday dinner was great

Food was delicious and bartenders very attentive and friendly.

Food was good, but the waiter brought another dish than the one we ordered. They also forgot to give us take home package.

Incredible food and staff. I grew up in an Italian household. This restaurant has a great variety of reasonbly priced and excellent options. Can't miss choice for a wonderful night out. Will look forward to trying Benno.

The brunch situation here is tops. Tucked inside the Evelyn Hotel! It’s a heavier/ more savory brunch and doesn’t start til 12pm on weekends, but it’s a low key peaceful vibe, quiet, classy but cool decor and surroundings, and good service. Our group ordered brunch entrees — the “eggs purgatorio” (similar to shakshuka in marinara sauce, delicious), the lasagna, and the egg sandwich (comes with fries too). All were delicious, plus they bring you amazing fresh focaccia to start your meal, and have complimentary sparkling water. Brunch entrees are in the $15-25 range depending on how heavy you go. There’s also a small outpost with pastries and focaccias at the front of the hotel.

Leonelli has the best eggplant parm and the best lasagna in NYC, hands down. It is perfect for pre-theatre dining and kid friendly. I love the bar as well, they do a perfect Happy Hour. This restaurant is the perfect fit for the NoMad area.

Leonelli Taberna is a true Benno gem! The restaurant has the best bar in nomad. The bar is huge and filled with all the great Italian liquors. Leonelli is inside of the Evelyn Hotel and offers delicious Italian fare, the stand outs are the lasagna, bucatini and the mozzarella in carozza. Most of the menu is also available for their happy hour!

We celebrated our friend’s 50th birthday here and it was absolutely stunning. The food was incredibly delicious, the vibe was very upscale yet laid back and the staff was on top of their game and really cared for our large group. Will definitely be back!

Kinda late post but this place is absolutely amazing! We went here about a month ago and we loved every second of it. I've been to many Italian restaurants but Leonelli is definitely the most delicious of all! Not to mention the staffs and the manager John are very helpful and attentive to us. Their bakery shop is not to miss it, especially their breakfast Tigelle Albume. Very recommended Italian restaurant and their bakery as well!
