Leonard's Bakery

Wow, the donuts are just wow. Super fresh and tastes amazing. Granted this is fried dough and sugar and creams but man they are delicious. Not something I can have daily but we came here after a morning hike up koko head and that 1000+ step hike up and down deserved a nice reward like this!

We were driving to Hanauma Bay, when we spotted Leonard’s Bakery truck. My husband quickly turned the car around because I fell in love with Leonard’s Bakery Malasadas last time we were in Honolulu. While waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I looked up the menu online and had my order totally planned out. I was so excited for it too. When my turn finally came and I placed my order with the lady, she was so curt with me saying, we don’t have that and that. It took me a minute to collect my thoughts to place my order based on what she had and again she was so annoyed, almost angry with me. I ended up getting 6 malasadas and they were just as delicious as I remembered. Both my husband and my favorite ended up being the plain so next time I am going to get more of the plain.

So much better than what I've heard! You will not be disappointed!

Excellent fresh donuts, forget the custard filled and stick with the original, cinnamon or sweet and sour. They are made fresh to order and are almost too hot to eat when you get them.

So good when they're fresh and still hot! Best donuts I've ever had!

It was our first time and it was amazing! We each got two or three malasadas. Our favorite was the one with custard. On the 2nd place the one filled with coconut, and on the third-place the chocolate one. We didn't try the cinnamon one. The original one ) just sugar on top, no filling) was super delicious as well!! We could have had more!!

Absolutely amazing. I've never had malasadas, but was recommended this place by my Uber driver. If you like donuts you'll like these. So fluffy and doughy and delicious! I had the original, custard filled, coconut filled, and the sweet and sir ones, and I would recommend the original and custard. Wish I could come back every day.
