Simply a great place to be. The food is great and the beer selection is likely to suit everyone even the beer aficionados. Corn hole and ping pong out back. Good music playing throughout the building. Staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. If you haven't seen the new brewery you better go check it out!

I am very glad i did not miss the opportunity to unwind with a few drinks here. Laid over in Bakersfield overnite with early am appointment, i was hesitant to check the place out, but glad i did. Atmosphere was great, loved the classic rock playing, surprisingly i don't hear classic rock as often at bars/grills and breweries anymore than years ago and is always the best to get me in the groove. The beer was excellent too, the bartenders were pretty cool and outgoing. Definitely coming back next time i can have an overnight stay in Bakersfield!

Always love coming to lengthwise, the Zeus is one of the best beers out there at a 10% so smooth easy to drink... The red is also really good and the staff is very knowledgeable and great to find out about the different beers and what you might or might not like. The food is really good as well so you're going to have a great time coming here no matter what I recommended highly.

Good food, beer, service and environment. Great place for food or just a beer with some buddies. The ping pong tables and cornhole are a great addition as well. I think it's also pretty great that families bring their kids with them here. I feel like that's a tell of how positive the environment is.

Love this location & it's ambience! Lunch is quick and everyone working here is happy and super nice. One of the ladies working at this location has been working for lengthwise for years and she's always so upbeat and pleasant. We loved the chicken strips and fish tacos. If you want a fish sandwich they only serve it on Fridays. I'm not a beer drinker, but I do enjoy trying sample/ tasters ale's and appetizers. Lengthwise is not just for beer drinkers, but for anyone who enjoys good fun and a fun family/friends atmosphere.

Lengthwise continues to be the preeminent brewery/restaurant in the Bako area. This newer location is awesome for its wide, open atmosphere. The food choices are eclectic and creative versions of classic American pub fare. You'd be more pleased dining and drinking here than the national chains (BJ's, Eureka! et al ). The craft brews are top notch, rivaling those from Stone Brewing, Firestone Walker, and Dogfish Head in terms of creativity and craftsmanship. Service is good, though not excellent, yet still satisfactory enough to keep you enjoying the great food and beer. I still prefer Lengthwise's Rosedale location for its darker, cozier feel. However, this location is awesome for those who like the wide open atmosphere.

Lengthwise is two different restaurants for me. On weekdays, my work colleagues and I often come here for a leisurely lunch, particularly welcome and going away lunches. The District location is spacious with plenty of room to move tables and accommodate 20-25 people with little or no notice.Alternatively, Lengthwise is a microbrewery that offers many unique, premium beers produced on the premises. Both the food and the beer stand on their own; the combination is outstanding!

Never have I had a fight of 6 IPAs and liked everyone of them!! Amazing beer. My husband thinks the Imperial Stout is out of this world. If you like beer, you need to visit this brewery!
