A beautiful dining experience with fantastic food.

Today i was served some steak that was past its prime, it tasted like it should have been tossed 2 days ago to me. my friend ordered the same dish and had the same issue as well. I'm really disappointed. In the past when I've dined here everything has been fantastic. though now i don't know that ill get a good experience when i come here. This may have just been a fluke. but when i"m spending this much money for food i expect a consistently good experience. Being good 90% of the time may be good enough for apple bees but it doesn't cut it at a restaurant like this.I don't think I'll ever come back here. my experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth figuratively and literally.

The menu changes and is unique. Great food. It's small so show up a little early to get a seat.

This is probably my favorite place in Norfolk. Menu is thoughtful, well executed, frequently changes to make the best use of excellent local produce, but most importantly, everything I've had there is delicious.

I had the flounder special they had going and it was really incredible. The atmosphere doesn't give you the impression of the food, it's a bit humble but don't be fooled.

Incredible burger! Loved the sour beer, service and the peach/tomato salad as well. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Definitely recommend this spot for a great dinner. Not crazy $$ either.

Delicious dinner. Menu changes every 10 days or so, but our duck and steak were cooked perfectly and we sat overlooking the stove with a great view.

The food is always amazing and a variety of unique dishes are served. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

A must-visit in this area! The menu is limited and rotates often which might be annoying to some and reservations are only through email. However, once you select a menu option it's guaranteed to be tasty and unique. The workers there were super friendly and accommodating to our group.

The menu is upscale. The food was well prepared. The service was friendly. On the downside, the non-alcoholic beverage selection was lacking. No iced tea for the meal and no coffee to have with dessert.

Small place, simple menu (1 page, less than 15 items), all great choices, never had a bad meal here.

First visit, last night, for dinner, and here's the 411: great menu, good short simple wine list of good choices (beer choices looked good, too), good clean fresh food, cooked to perfection--no limp lettuce or rubbery scallops or raw beef here--and beautifully plated, enormous portions, wonderful hospitality and service, and to our thinking well priced. My whole party loved their food. I got the hangar steak with pear, peanuts, grilled cauliflower, and nuoc cham Vietnamese sauce and it was to die for. I also recommend the fresh made doughnuts with pecan toffee and chocolate sauce. We will definitely be back
