Always heard about this place. Finally stop in and I am happy I did . The Italian hero was amazing. The prices are perfect. Everyone is nice that works there. I will be back here alot

The best hero's around! Joe and Lou Leggio have been in business 54 years! Located on 4th Ave., renamed Leggio's Way on their 50th Anniversary. They never even had a sign, although I bought them a small one because of their incredible friendliness and awesome, inexpensive hero's! Bourna Fortuna Joe and Lou!

Old thyme food !

What a fantastic deli, I've been coming to this deli ever since I was a kid and order the same Italian special everytime. It's been around for ages and still stands after all this time a true New York Deli.

My uncle's will bring you back in time! Not only are they a deli, they ARE the Bay Shore Historical society, lol. I'd you need to remember someone, just go there, Uncle Joey n Uncle Louie will give the full family history of anyone that has touched their lives! Say Hi to my son Duncan, when he's not in school, he's behind the counter, he's bigger than Uncle Louie! Ya can't miss him! Mangiare!!

A pillar within the community kept me going for a long time. Fantastic people who are charismatic and charming. This out of the way mom and pop styled hero spot will grab your heart if not definitely your stomach. 5/5 Everytime. Thanks guys.

Best hero sandwich in bayshore

Same owners since I was a kid. Same great sandwiches at yester-year proces. If you can get past the aesthetics l, you will be pleasantly surprised. Always a nice experience.
