Always like going. Legal seafoods is a classic Boston restaurant that everyone should experience. It has great options and they are all super fresh. Highly recommended for a good meal and experience

It is famous restaurant's chain and I would recommend to every seafood lovers try it once. I ordered clam chowder which was good (not so awesome), baked lobster (having so much bread) and oysters(which I have tried better at many places) but still it was good.

Always a nice time. Though I do feel their cocktails have gone downhill. They just taste like sweet concoctions as opposed to the sophisticated cocktails of the past. Ordered a gin and tonic not feeling like anything was appealing. Order a grapefruit margarita second only to affirm my initial thoughts. Way too sweet. In contrast, the food was up to reputation and as enjoyable as always.

The service was excellent. Food was delivered reasonably prompt. Disappointed in the kitchen. I had a crab combination. The lump crab cake and shrimp were very good. One of the 3 scallops was undercooked, still pink in the center third. My wife enjoyed her lobster ravioli except when parts of the lobster shell still encased the meat. My server asked the manager to talk to me. We talked. Unfortunately he tried to make an excuse for cooking errors. Excuses is not part of the Legal Seafoods Pledge. I am familiar with commercial kitchens. Mistakes can happen, but two in two different meals to me suggest a quality control problem.

Food taste and service were impressive. This food house has delicious Turkish recipes. People make a crowd here to get their favorite recipe. I loved Mixed Grill, Baklava, Red Lentil Soup. A good place to come with friends, family, and kids.

food is good but not exceptional. location is convenient but just if you live in the area. as a tourist, I would never choose such restaurant and would prefer something cosier (any place in Little Italy is definitely preferable). come here if you would like to have a lobster at an affordable price. staff is also very friendly and helpful. but you will always have the feeling of eating in a chain restaurant

Definitely not what it used to be. No complaints on the general quality. The scallops I ordered were nice and tender. Most things I saw on the menu and tasted with family as we were eating together were rather processed feeling now. Less focus on simple quality ingredients and more on processing and high production menu. I ate what I ordered but would not likely ask about going back or recommend the place.

I hadn't been to a Legal Seafood in quite awhile but my memory was that I have generally enjoyed them. Memory was correct. We had a delicious meal with outstanding service. The grilled scallops were so tender. Our server was attentive and cheerful. The only minor negative note was that the music coming from the speaker over our heads was all disco from the 70s and 80s. Not sure how that happens.

Dinner was outstanding. The service was top-notch. We had a party of 8 in the governor's room. It was very nice to have that, because it was a very busy Saturday night. We were having a birthday party for the patriarch of the clan. My only suggestion would be the lighting in the governor's room. There was a single bare bulb hanging from the ceiling. It's an LED bulb that was perhaps a whiter color temperature. There was a dimmer on the circuit, but this newer LED bulb did not work properly with that dimmer that's probably been there for several years. So the lighting was a little harsh. I would very strongly suggest switching to a warm white bulb that either works with the dimmer, or get a dimmer that works with the bulb. I would also suggest switching to a 4-inch or even better a 6 inch globe bulb instead of the standard ball. That was in there. Better yet, some recessed lighting in the ceiling would be the best option.

I went here for the first time on Feb 29th (leap year offer: 2 lobsters for 1), and my experience overcome my expectations. I was expecting a too "commercial" type of place but it os not! Service was nice, professional and friendly, and they accommodate our requests. Food was really good, almost exceptional! Seafood and lobsters much better than other Boston restaurants. I will definitely come back and bring visiting friends
