Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I use to enjoy eating at this restaurant every time I would visit Sandusky but yesterday (7-19-2019) I was served old chicken that tasted like it had been sitting out for too long. It was dreadful and it had old oil taste to it as well. My sides that I ordered were better than the chicken to be honest. Please do better, nobody likes to eat old food. I'm sure the workers themselves don't like to eat old food either, so fyi do not sell people food that you would not even eat.

Love the food here. The biscuits are especially good. The staff is very good, clean place too. I would eat here again.

Enjoyed lunch here at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon. The man behind the counter was helpful and kind. Actually, all the employees seemed to be in a good mood. Food was served almost immediately after ordering. Fried chicken was fresh, super crispy, and juicy. Biscuits were very fluffy. Mac and cheese was tasty, just what I’d expect at a fast food chicken place. Gizzards were extremely tender, but the breading was kinda soft and soggy. Maybe that’s because they’re served in a styrofoam cup with a lid on it trapping all the steam inside. The potato wedges that we were served looked like they were wonderfully fried at one point, but they had become soft and sad. Anyway, just a couple of disappointments, but I’d return to this location!
