Leela Indian Food Bar

I had been missing home lately and craving for good Indian food. It's been long since I had some creamy Dal Makhani with Butter Chicken. So I found Leela on google and ran straight to this beautiful restaurant with my friends. Honestly, the butter chicken was so rich and creamy as if I am dining in heaven. The ambience was authentic Indian and really felt like home. Dal Makhani was delicious to the core. If anyone craves Indian food, I, being an Indian, can vouch for this amazing place. Great job guys and thank you for serving us!

Amazing restaurant! Very authentic Punjabi style food. Really enjoyed this place. Spectacular food, great flavor and a perfect hangout spot. Their food is really fresh and the staff is superb! We were greeted in first 15 seconds and Hardy was serving us. He was great and knows how & what to ask. Recommending other to go and have good time.

Best Indian food in town. Very fast and respectful. Clean and tidy restaurant. Love the fact that you can see inside the kitchen. Food portions are really good. We always have a lot of food to go which makes it extra special to have the food at home as well. Make sure to try the Mango Lassi. Instead of ordering rice we got the veggie biryani which was really good (highly recommended) no need to have any extra spices. The chef should be recognized for this food. We come here at least once a month. Best to have lunch here when it's not too crowded but still they are more than capable of any kind of traffic. Thank you for the good food. Much Love.

Yesterday I went to this restaurant and had such a delicious dinner. The food was very yummy. Also staff was very respectful and place was very tidy. It was an amazing experience.

Was there on evening of November 25. Warm, welcoming staff, food was excellent, not too spicy and price reasonable. Comfortable interior, just a hint of glitter, and clean, spacious bathroom (my marker for a better restaurant). A beautiful thing about food from this part of the world, its made with such care and even if you're not familiar with it, feels and tastes like comfort food. Leela delivered with wonderful intense flavours. Well done!

First the food...it is the best. I took my son the chef and he agreed. The spices were a perfect blend. Second...the staff, so pleasant and accommodating. Am I going back? Yes! And taking friends.

I love spicy food but I tried their chicken Korma which was not at all spicy and was really amazing. Garlic (Lahsooni) Cauliflower is our favourite as well. I have tried a lot of items here and they never disappoint. And, they have a nice atmosphere and a great staff. I believe I have found my favourite Indian food place In Toronto.

The best Indian we’ve had in Toronto. Everything was delicious, we can’t wait to try more dishes. Also they deliver directly, so try to avoid the apps if you can!

We decided to try out this restaurant in our neighbourhood for our anniversary lunch and boy were we glad we did! We were in search of an authentic Indian food experience and we sure got it. The decor and music set the tone for a relaxing lunch. We arrived right at noon so were the first guests for the day. We ordered an array of dishes with a purpose to sample and also bag it home. Our choices (thanks to many Yelp and Google recommendations) did not disappoint! We enjoyed the lasooni cauliflower, eggplant fries, butter chicken, shrimp malai curry, garlic naan and mango lassi; such a rich explosion of flavour and tasty delight. Service was fantastic as we had many check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our meal. The lunch crowd started to roll in soon after. We were so impressed with our choice of Leela Indian Food Bar that we are already making plans to bring family and friends here. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to have Indian food in Toronto. I had been here with my friends to celebrate semester end. It was a place with good ambience. Would recommend this to everyone who loves authentic food.

It's a small cozy place with limited menu. Presentation and guest experience was commendable. Communication was to the point. Taste buds were good in response to the limited choice. Small selection of mocktails and cocktails well crafted and displayed.

Just discovered the place and it’s fab. Service is really nice. Place is not too big but well managed. Definitely a place you would like to go with anyone with contented food. Waiter are polite and kind. The owner is nice too. The crowd is really decent. They have alcoholic beverages too so was perfect for me. Asks waiter to recommend you some good cuisine. 4 stars for the place been small. That’s it. Hope it had a bigger branch.

Great customer service and amazing food. There are quite a few vegetarian options and they are good. Samosa chat for appetizers is a great choice!
