Incredible rugelach! And really friendly staff.

Lee Lee's is one of the tastiest bakeries in NYC. Whenever I need to bring sweets somewhere I get them here. A must visit if you are in Harlem.

I was looking forward to this first visit. Unfortunately, when i stepped inside, the bakery smelled of bleach, not pastry. Meanwhile, the refrigerated case looked unkept and another looked like converted storage. Even the photos on the walls looked like they needed a dusting. Unlike the user photos, it was not inviting nor appetizing. The rugelach is very large and flavored - no plain, original - and I found both it and the pound cake were dry and not moist. They need some young energy in here to spiff this place up and attend to the details. This is the kind of establishment one likes to keep in the neighborhood, so i hope they can spruce it up as well as improve on the recipes.

The best red velvet cake I'm my opinion in NYC!

The place can be easily overlooked but one shouldn't. The rugelach is tasty and has a good mouthfeel.

Lived with Jews in Manhattan Valley for 7 years and never knew about this place, go figure. Got invited to dinner with former beau's Jewish grandparents of highly discerning taste. I usually bring them Royce chocolates but they live closer to a Royce than I do, so why support blatant inefficiency? Considered getting something from Silvermoon Bakery but then saw the stellar reviews on this place. Forewent finishing my makeup to run over and grab a bag of these treasures. No one notices my acne when they have already died from catching one buttery whiff from the bag. Classy grandma's verdict: "This brother's recipe is even better than my mother's."

This tiny spot makes delicious treats. They are known for their rugalah but don't forget to order your pies for all the holiday seasons!

Favorite bakery in Harlem. Rugelach is a must of course but we love cheesecake there as well. Lee is always nice. Things are cheeper in the late afternoon.

I love this little bakery just off the main strip of Frederick Douglass Ave; there’s seating, it’s warm and cozy, friendly service and yummy rugelach, house-made. Not crowded like the other coffee shops on the Avenue, perfect for a quiet Sunday afternoon writing in my journal :). Only wish they had some tea! But I’m super satisfied with being off the beaten path. ðŸ‘ðŸ½âœ¨

This bakery has been in business for years with the original owner and the bake goods are delicious. I have seen some Out- of-Towners whom have moved away, make this Bakery a stop when they come to town.
