Ledge Water Steak House

Outstanding food and service with great views of Newfound Lake. A must to be there at sundown. One of the best filet mignon steaks that I have ever eaten! Female owner/manager worked hard all evening to make every diner feel important. Can't wait to go back.

You get what you pay for! Loved everything about this place. It was cloudy and rainy and the view was still great! Can't wait to go back for a sunset dinner.

The food and drinks here were excellent. It's a little pricey but you get exactly what you pay for, great service, delicious food, and large portions. I would recommend going here and sitting outside on the deck. It's only open seasonally so make sure to plan ahead.

Delightful setting. Excellent drinks. We sat at the bar since the restaurant was fully booked but were still able to enjoy an excellent view of the bay. My wife is a vegetarian and was prepared to make do with a salad but the chef was happy to accommodate with a range of off-the-menu veggie options. My steak was perfectly cooked. Portions were well sized. My only complaint was that the steamed broccoli was overcooked and a little mushy. Otherwise a wonderful experience.

We dined outside on the deck facing Newfound Lake with a spectacular view. Our meal started off with an excellent shrimp cocktail, then salads followed by our main course an outstanding rare 28 oz bone in ribeye steak. Kelly our waitress was very nice and continually checked to see how the food was and if we needed anything. All in all a wonderful outing.

Quite pricy but we knew that going in. Excellent wait staff and the food was absolutely out of this world(for all five of us). Definitely worth every penny! Delicious!!😘

Excellent, I love this place, beautiful view

My wife and I went there on Thursday night just before Labor day. We both had the filet and a Ceasar salad. We each got a cold baked potato and a side of leftover asparagus. The steak was great and so was our waitress but that's about it. They were out of a lot of their wine, some of their entrees and some of their side dishes. How does a steakhouse run out of mushrooms!!! and they were still serving through the weekend. I would expect a place like the Daily Catch to be out of a few things but not Ledge Water. I guess it's our fault for going towards the end of the season but for the price you would think they could run to the market and buy a couple containers of mushrooms.

Beautiful location, portions good size, but need to fine tune service of fine dining. Water not given to everyone, bottle of wine served but not kept in a chiller, just left on table, specials were not told to us, we heard them after from a waitress serving another table. Server didn’t clear dirty dishes & did not know the menu and didnt explain it clearly, meats undercooked but served on super hot plates & literally cooks while you are eating it. Service was super personable but needed more training. We were celebrating an engagement but definitely wasn’t upscale feel. We even let the temporary manger know our feedback but he tried blaming it lack of staff available because they open later than other seasonal restaurants, not cool. The server just needs more training. 6 people and it did not meet the amount we paid.

We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday here this summer, and the staff did such an amazing job making sure that we had a table with a beautiful view, accommodating a large party and lots of preferences. They went above and beyond, and even decorated the table with napkins and confetti to match our theme. The owner also made a beautiful nut-free birthday cake that was absolutely superb! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
