The eclairs are very delicious but very small. Price is pretty high considering the size you're getting. The staff are very friendly though and there is a seating area in the back for you to relax and enjoy your food.

We thought they were totally AMAZING!!!🤯 Cupcakes need to find a new reason to live! HIGHLY recommended. (BTW - we tried 7 different kinds, omg, and loved them all)

I first had these eclairs in Paris and was excited to hear they were coming to Vancouver. They are equally delicious, and the service at the shop is very friendly. There was abundant seating when I was there, and there wasn't a line.

We tried their matcha/green tea eclair. It tasted good. The presentation of each of the eclairs was fantastic. Obviously the chef put time and effort to design each presentation and ingredients on each piece. They do have coffee beverages. We haven't tried them yet. Maybe next time. Their customer service was great and very friendly. Servers would greet, smile and talk to customers. This dessert place has published their own coloured booklets or brochures. They introduced their products, the restaurant itself across the world, and etc. The design is very colourful, attractive and vibrant. I like it. Also this dessert place/cafe has spacious dining area for the public. The wall colour is yellow which makes the room bright and happy. It is located on the busy Robson Street. I hope their business will go well.

I don't know if this place even need any review. Straight from France they make the most delicious éclairs possible. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but they are all pieces of art and perfection of taste. They also make a great gift for your loved ones. Highly recommend!

I get that we are in downtown Vancouver, but $7 for an eclair is steep. That being said, I also found the eclair pastry to be the equivalent of stale bread. The filling and topping were great. Very picturesque. We accompanied our eclairs with a pot of lemon ginger tea which helped wash down the hard pastries. In my mind eclairs should be flakey pillows of goodness filled with an elegant creme and topped with a coating. I didn't get it and left feeling disappointed for the price. Maybe your experience may differ. The staff were friendly and attentive.

I tried these in Paris a couple of months ago and was delighted to know we were getting a store here. I went for the evening of opening day and they had sold out so I came back a couple weeks later. Be prepared to pay a ton of money (think l'aduree) but you get an amazing presentation and complex flavours. To people who say they don't have their pastry right, these are some of the top rated eclair in Paris and they tasted exactly the same.

This international chain opened their first location in North America right here in Vancouver. The eclair are done locally and have some regional flavours. Overall, the pastries were ok, a little too sweet for my personal liking. Some seating available in the back. Not cheap!

Personally, I am not a dessert fan. I don't really like Canadian desserts since they are all too sweet for me. One day, I saw my friend's Instagram photos on L’Éclair de Génie and its eclairs cute design, so I decided to go to have a try. We ordered salted caramel and chocolate one. Each of the eclairs had unquiet design and looked fantastic. I have tried both of them. I felt both of them taste were great (Not too sweet).  The only minus thing with this store is that all the eclairs are over prices.  Even though each eclair is well designed and attractive, they are super small for that prices. I wish they can be cheaper. In the store, they also have coffee beverages. Since we just had a big dinner, we didn't try the coffee. The services were nice and friendly. The ambiance was super clean and quiet. Great experience !!!

They have some of the best eclairs I've ever had. They do sell out quite early though, and not all types are made every day, so better to come in early or call beforehand to check whether your favourites are still available. Their hazelnut praline jars have probably the best Nutella substitute I've ever had, but it's also quite expensive (about $15 for a small jar).

I’d give them a 3, but I give a 4 because it was my dream for Christophe Adam to open this gem in Vancouver. My dream came true, however, the quality of the eclairs here in Vancouver does not compare to that of Paris; where it had originated. I contribute this to our poor quality of dairy and wheat products. Though the bakery could do better on keeping the products fresh and making sure only quality hits the shelves, which they don’t. Perhaps they are not as busy as expected, hence they sell yesterday’s eclairs.

Beautiful and delicious. Best eclair in Vancouver. =)
