What a quaint space and excellent food. The drinks were fantastic (Vespers and Margaritas). The appetizer, steak tartare, was perfection. The entrees (mussels and fries and trout almondine) were delicious! Service was great, the music was good and the crowd was great. No bar space, only sit down service. But recommend it for the good food. Beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. Great food and Awesome music. Couldn't be happier.

Having dined there before, we were looking forward to a wonderful meal again. We were greatly disappointed. The wait staff were friendly but the manager (owner?) was arrogant. I asked that the front door be closed so the air conditioning would cool the room and was told that HE liked it that way. My raw oyster special was riddled with shell shards and my husband's tuna tartar was just so -so. My husband ordered the special, pan seared fluke. It was barely warm and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were left over from Thanksgiving. I had rack of lamb. I asked for rare and got raw. It was served over white beans that reeked of rosemary . Rosemary so over-powered the flavor that it was all I could taste all evening. Given the noise level and the way you are crammed into tables like sardines, we will not be returning. A $600.00 dollar lesson learned.

Very good French cuisine at reasonable prices! Outstanding and worth going to. If you go when it is cold out, be sure not to sit by the door, there is quite a draft! Enjoy!

Delicious food and amazing service and wonderful ambiance

The noise level here is absurd. I couldn’t hear anything for more than half of the times due the noise. It was such an unpleasant experience for both of us. We had to rush out of the place because I felt like staying here for dessert would make me lose hearing. Won’t be coming back.

Cozy, elegant place with great French cuisines. Nice people there!

They have a mix of dishes that are excellent and some that are ok. That would not be an issue except sometimes it's the same dish! However on the whole the food is excellentTheir duck, mussels, and filet mignon are great...almost always

We had an amazing night at Le Penguin.The food was excellent, the ambience anddecor was very chic. We were welcomedby the host - Antoine Bleck. He was charming,his sense of humor made our dining experiencememorable! It is truly a Greenwich HOT SPOT --BRAVO!
