Cozy and modern restaurant. Table d'hôte could be more complete with desert and bread, but it was tasty. The vegan platter seems to be a better choice! Nice staff and great decoration. Seems to be good for a party or private event.

Good food, great service. Kinda pricy. 60 dollars for a meal for two.

Best Ethiopian cuisine i have ever tried. Meats were very flavourful and their flat bread is really well done. Really liked their vegetarian starter. Especially the hummus it was so airy and light it was like a mousse. I have been here few times now and this place never disappoints me.

This is our 2nd time in Montreal and we made sure to visit Nil Bleu (Blue Nile) again. The food here is absolutely amazing. So flavorful yet simple. I love it! They serve traditional Ethiopian cuisine, however on the last page there are also offerings from several other African countries - Tunisian, Algerian, Morroccan, and others. The servers are attentive and the amenities clean. I especially loved their interior - the contrast between cozy African motifs and the snow blizzard outside was particularly striking. NB: the cocktails are interesting and delicious, definitely worth your attention.

Cool african restaurant with great food and friendly staffs. The restaurant offers african meal (moroccan, tunisian, etc...). Not only ethiopian. Decoration is cool with some sub-sahara african art. The food and plate are african style. Food is great by the way. And it is recommanded to eat with their hands. But services are quite slow. I definitely recommend this restaurant. But services need to be improved.

A unique experience with very unique food. Fairly pricey, though.

Wonderful tasty food. If you are a meat eater or not the food is well worth a visit here. This was a sharing platter for four. You can do them in twos as well

Ethiopian food is amazing and it always will be, another great place is Ethiopian House in Toronto. By the way only a 16 year old... ADVICE don’t be picky and try shit out, the veggie/lentil platters are the reason why you need to try Ethiopian

Great food! Good price for the serving sizes and shareable plates that are great if you don't know what to get. Lots of funky drinks and super close to the metro if you're commuting

Second time I've been fortunate enough to visit and it was just as delicious. Without a doubt one of the best meals I've ever had, period.

The food was excellent. What an experience. Eating with your hands with a spongy crepe. They do have forks and knives for those that have an aversion to eating with your hands. I had the cubed beef. It was a bit spicy but full of flavor. When the plates arrive one tends to think that they are not very big but they are very filling. The only issue I had was that it was very noisy. So much fo that we were unable to hear others at our table.

Authentic cuisine, great flavours, good service

We had the sampler platter and a couple of other full dishes. Serving sizes overall seemed small for 4 people so, next time, we'll order full dishes to share. Although towels were given at the start, because we had to eat with our fingers, I would suggest serving bowls of water with cut up lemons so we can rinse our hands after the meal.
