The best airport in the world. Like really. Only customs was a bit long but the food selections are great and lots of bathrooms, and great design. Great improvement from 2016 when the place was the worst airport. Surprised me Newark Airport!

I traveled from NYC via Newark Liberty. I'm all for going to another airport outside of a major city for price and convenience. I didn't purchase the ticket but the convenience I did experience. This airport is on a smaller scale than most big cities. One thing for sure is with a smaller airport TSA is so much easier. I used handicap assistance. I wound up passing my party of folks I was with because you go through a special gate. Speaking of gates the terminal is circular. All the gates are in a large circle so there was not a lot of walking. There was also not a lot of choices for snacks or food. The gate agent asked me if I wanted to check my carry-on. Sure no problem. I like skipping the baggage fee. I was also boarded before other people because again I was traveling handicap. I enjoyed my little two hours in Newark. At least they had places for you to charge your phone and comfortable seats.

Security staff acts in a strange and unfriendly way, WiFi - never had such bad quality on an airport. And hey! Why is transit so complicated? It’s a shame to the US, every other countries airports do the job smoothly and comfortable for their travelers
