The staff is incredibly sweet and talented. Bring your cash and be delighted on a gloomy day. Have souped, do soup, and will continue to soup.

Great tortilla soup, but it’s $8 for a small bowl of soup and bread - kinda pricey. Would like to come back for the lobster bisque one day.

A friend brought me here to try it. One, I would have never done this place on my own. I feel like it's hidden in the back of a closed down shopping center. Two, it's probably the best hotdog I've had in Michigan. Three, I feel like the fact that selections being limited is a good thing for this place. Once they run out for the day, they run out. It seems to keep the quality good.

Had the Roasted Garlic soup a little while back, and it was fantastic. Home-cooked taste, and cooking that you can't get anywhere else. Great bread, a good dog, and homemade lemonade rounded out my comforting meal. The list of soups is phenomenal and supposedly they have hundreds that they rotate from. I wish I were in the area to try more. And, for $8 I was completely stuffed. Hard to find that nowadays as I just ate a $13 salad. The people working here will make you feel at home. A top-notch family-run business.

I wish that I could give this place 6 stars out of 5. They menu is not complex nor offer a very wide variety and that is the best part. The menu they have is perfect and each option is amazing. The lobster bisque is far and away my favorite (only sold on thur and fri) but it will blow your mind. They are cash only which some may not like, but hey you get what you pay for and you get a killer soup and dog if you like.

Best lobster bisque ever. On one hand, I wish they had it every day instead of only on Thursday and Friday, but on the other hand, it's probably a good thing because I'd gain 20lbs from consuming all that cream and butter... The only downside is there's no seating anywhere and it's cash only.

This place has been a mainstay in Ann Arbor for a long time for a reason. It has excellent soup and it's one of the few places in Ann Arbor that I can get a filling meal for less than $10

The Italian wedding soup was out of this world. It was one of the tastiest soups I've had in a long time. If you're in town, it's worth a trip during the weekdays. I came all the way from Detroit to check this place out and they didn't disappoint me at all. Just wished there was a place to sit down to enjoy the food, though.

Great food and friendly service! The people who work here are awesome. Can't beat lunch for $2.50 either! Also, their lobster bisque (and really all their soups for that matter) are DEEEELISH!
