Le Cirque Cafe

Jackets required for men during dinner service but fret not if you didn't bring one, as they'll seat you in the less crowded, and less formal, cafe area next to their bar. The cafe area is actually a lot quieter than the main dining hall (bar patrons are generally soft spoken the few times I've been there, and not overbearing in numbers), which I find more romantic and frankly, a lot more pleasant, especially as dinner progresses and the bar crowd thins out. There are fewer staff here, as expected, and service may not be as prompt, but it's a trade off that I find well worth. Excellent food and I highly recommend this for a special occasion, or if you're looking to impress.

Legend has it that this restaurant is amazing on all counts. Legend does not prove to be mistaken. One of my best friends and I went together one time for a splurge lunch. Every bite of food and every interaction with the servers were wonderful. This place is top notch and totally worth it for a special occasion.

Fantastic. Wonderful menu. The flavours are sublime, preparation perfection, even the seasoning spot on. Extensive wine list. Very attentive service. Nice setting.

Fabulous restaurant with fine food and excellent atmosphere. The service is very kind and professional. The starters are very tasty and the meat was cooked perfectly. The decor is amazing. A real delight I highly recommend.

Food and service are both outstanding. Yes it can get pricey but why wouldn't you want to splurge every now and again? Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. No complaints here

Came here on Restaurant Week, so it was a little more affordable than usual (although if you want a cocktail or a glass of wine, you're going to have to dig deep). Very tasty food, beautifully presented (the animal-themed played were fun) and attentive waiting staff, who even swapped my friend's cocktail because she didn't like what they'd recommended. Nice for a special occasion.

Really classy place, but as expected with classy and upper echelon places, the cost for parking is exorbitant! However, it is cool to just drive up to a restaurant in NYC. That being said, the interior of Le Cirque is elegant and beautiful, the service is unparalleled and the food, especially the soup is exquisite. I wouldn't hesitate to say that this place is probably one of the top restaurants in the Manhattan area.

Food is always so good here. The chocolate souffle is so good one might want to skimp on entrees, but don't! Too delicious to waste. Service is gracious and attentive.

This restaurant was fantastic French food. Great techniques, and very fresh ingredients. Excellent service too. Hope to come back soon!

Beautiful setting and excellent service. I went during Restaurant Week and had the chicken breast off the Restaurant Week menu just to see if Cirque's take on the dish was that much better than others'. It was good but it didn't surprise me.

Cane for my wife's birthday and splurged on the full tasting menu with wine pairing. Seriously have you a full glass of wine with every course. Best meal we've ever had.

Great food but slow service.

Even if not "known" one can have a great meal here. And the decor is lovely. Great for Restaurant Week. What is so great about this place is you could go here for a business lunch, you could go here with a friend or you could go here with a date/spouse for a special occasion or just about any occasion and have a wonderful time. This restaurant has maintained its high standards for many years and let's hope it continues to do so for many more.
