They let pastries rot all week. Had flies with my muffin the other day, just had the most disgusting chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) in my life, hence the review.

There's only a handful of reasons I ever go to Verdes: 1) I need breakfast and I'm late to class. Verdes has pretty good hot grab and go breakfast sandwiches and burritos. I recommend the sausage croissant at ~$5 . Make sure to get a sandwich card so you're rewarded for your repeated purchases2) I want juice. Verdes has a pretty great juice selection. While overpriced, you can't beat the convenience and variety.

Very overpriced. Open 24 hours during the school year. Honey roasted peanuts are only $.59 though.

Overpriced as hell, but open 24 hours and within walking distance. For better or for worse, Verdes is life.

Nice little conscience store in the heart of MIT that you can stop by whenever you're visiting the campus as it has all your convenience needs.

I've ordered a sandwich and waited for twenty minutes. Then the staff asked me what have I ordered. He said there was no steak and I should order from him. What? I told him I ordered from the other guy and he said the other guy is a helping hand. Really? I saw the other guy speaking to you directly about my order, so you didn't hear it? What a waste of time. I'll never come here again. Totally rude and disgusting service.

I don't know why the bad reviews, I go here just about everyday for lunch and the food is always good and the people are very friendly.
