Lavaca Teppan

Yesterday I had a great lunch at Lavaca Teppan. I had the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. The flavor was great and the bowl was filled with a large portion of chicken and great veggies. I definitely will be back!

Good food, I just ate this right after going to UT Austin for a computer science UIL competition. It was a good victory meal😂

Good location for delicious Japanese food. Food was so delish. I look forward to a return visit. Prices are fair.

Amazing food but Ephiany my waitress was kind of mean- Did not feel welcome in the least, she didnt give me any napkins, or eating utensils with my meal *which was exceptional, and made with great detail- fresh ginger, and veggies* But i had to wait an extra ten minutes for the check so she could flirt with the male customers, so lousy experience, but FANTASTIC food.

The food is always so fresh, and relatively inexpensive. You can get two meals out of a lunch portion. It's hard though, because it's so good.

A great find and even better meal. Very tasty. We had the teriyaki chicken and teriyaki beef. Lucia was our server and wonderful. Thumbs up from my crew.

Favorite lunch spot when I work downtown. Easy, healthy options! I love to order the Teppen yaki with extra ginger sauce. If you go for lunch make sure to go by 12, it gets busy.

I like this place. In the first moment the waiter last to go to the table, but when he started to get the order everything was right. Sushi is so good.

Food was great, service was great, everything came out in a timely manner, fairly cheap for the quality food received. We very much enjoyed it. Happy hour makes some apps very cheap too.

My friend and I came here for lunch, waited and waited for our food, then finally she had to leave to pick up her son. We let our waiter know that we had to take our food to go. He came back out and said he had completely forgotten to put in the order. He didn’t even offer to cover our drinks or edamame. So we still paid for that and left our lunch hungry. Sorry Levaca Teppan— NOT impressed.

A little pricey for lunch but everything is tasty here. I like the chicken katsu best.

My fav place for delicious Japanese food. Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. This place has a cool atmosphere. I see why this place has so many good reviews.

Was excited to try this place for lunch. Walked over from work @ 11:30 (not busy at all!) and took some time to get an order in. People at the next table who were seated 15 minutes after us received their meals. Waited over 45 minutes for food...ridiculous, so we got up and left. Terrible that I didn't even get to try it. Unfortunately it didn't even seem like their management cared at all.

Based on all the other comments, I must have gone on an off day. My colleagues and I got our drinks rather quickly, but waited for our food for over 40 minutes before we decided to leave. The manager was nice enough to apologize at that point and comp our sodas, but that didn't really make up for the fact that we sat there for over 40 minutes without so much as a "sorry it's taking so long" or any other attempt at interaction by him or his waitstaff. Had they simply acknowledged us, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad.

Food was tasty, price point was OK, service was very slow
