Questions & Answers

I would say it'd be a lovely location for a Honeymoon. Let them know and they will be far more than accommodating!

Yes an events room is available for hire.

Depending on the nature of your husband's illness, I don't see why it wouldn't be. It's a very quiet and relaxing place, the surrounding viaduct area is very flat if you decide to walk anywhere. The hotel is fully accessible, and I have no doubt the incredible staff will find you a room and service that suits your wants and needs, you only have to ask. This might be different if your husband is suffering from a contagious illness, then it is to the discretion of the hotel to determine whether your stay would be suitable.

They have the house and a rain shower. Sofitel Auckland has the best bathrooms in Auckland. (I am not exaggerating. They have every possible option put in a perfectly designed, optimized space. And I only stayed in their cheaper rooms.) if you can afford to stay there, don't even bother checking other options.

Best to give them a call, but from. Memory I believe they do.

Only a five minute cab ride, or a ten minute walk.
